We booked our scuba diving experience in Lanzarote through Viator, which was a really handy way to arrange activities while on holiday. We went with Daivoon Diving Center and had a great experience overall. The staff were all lovely, welcoming, and had a great sense of humour, which helped put us at ease. When we first booked, we thought we would be diving together, but it turned out to be one at a time. To be fair, as it was both of our first times scuba diving, I didn’t mind in the end. There is a lot to take in, and having the instructor’s full attention was actually quite handy. Our instructor, Luzia, was fantastic. She was calm, patient, and reassuring throughout, helping me stay relaxed and enjoy the experience. It was a little nerve wracking at first, but once I settled in, it was really interesting and a lot of fun. I was underwater for nearly half an hour and saw plenty of fish. The whole experience was unforgettable. If I were to go scuba diving again, I’d definitely feel much more confident and prepared thanks to this introduction. Also Goetz, who was great craic and added a great atmosphere. We also paid the €25 for the photos, and I would definitely say they were worth it. Michi kindly sent them on to us by email afterwards, which I really appreciated. It was lovely to have the memories captured and to be able to look back on such a unique experience. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone thinking of trying scuba diving for the first time.

had a wonderful time diving with Daivoon diving centre. Goetz was a great instructor, and both him and Michi made the day superb. Also easy communication before the activity. There is a good safety-brief before the dive, then a one-on-one diving session. If you want pictures from the dive you can pay a small amount for it - definitely reckommend, you get a lot of great pictures! It is all very proffessional and I would love to come back one day. Absolutely reckommend!

On arrival I received a warm welcome from Goetz & Michi who explained the formalities and what to expect, which was reassuring as it was my first dive. Once in the water, Goetz constantly checked I was ok 👌

Just had my first scuba experience with Daivoon. Absolutely loved it. Not just the dive but the main instructor Goets (sorry if I spelled it wrong). Was a fun guy to be around. Great sense of humour and explained everything. He answered questions that weren't relevant to this experience, but things to put us at ease. I will be back when we return to Costa Teguise. Great team. We felt very safe and could fully enjoy our very first dive. Communication was very friendly and fast. It was very quickly confirmed that we could do the next two dives two days later. Next year we will do our diving license with you. We are happy and can only say “highly recommended”.

Highly recommended. I dived for the first time with my 11-year-old daughter. The guides are German and really super nice. Dealing with my daughter was really fantastic. The guide explained everything great. Personally, I was more nervous than my daughter and felt absolutely well picked up. You dive in 2-3 groups and that makes it very individual. We saw a lot of fish and the initial fear quickly disappeared. On the beach there is a dive shop which is a bit cheaper, but the competence of the guide and the individual experience are worth the few Eur more. Overall a great experience.
