Schneeschuhwanderung in Tromsø

Beschreibung

Every aspect of the tour was amazing. Heli, pur guide, was brilliant. The hike was easy to follow but yet it took us to breathtaking views. Highly recommend.
For someone who is terrified walking over an icy pavement this was a challenge and not something I was ecstatic about doing….But, it was absolutely brilliant, and so much fun… once I got the hang of the snowshoes and the poles. The scenery, the adventure, Marta our lovely guide and our fellow snowshoers, they all contributed to a fabulous morning. A coffee and a piece of carrot cake was our treat at the end. Because of the increase in temperature I didn’t really require my fur lined boots, heavy waterproof trousers and thermal gloves. As a senior snowshoer, I can highly recommend this activity!
We (couple) did an amazing hike together with the tour guide Marta! We had a great time, the hike was intense but not too hard. The way up was about 1,5 hours. At the top we had a little snack and a warm drink. Marta was super professional and friendly and provided a lot of explanations on the nature and the surroundings. The view at the top was amazing and we took some great photos. Also, we were able to rent the snowboots, trousers, jackets and gloves at Tromsø Outdoor for a fair price. We highy recommend the experience!
We wanted to experience the artic weather and nature, and this tour gave us exactly that! It was cold at times and quite windy and it was all part of it! The views are amazing and are worth the cold hands and the sweat to get there!! The best part was the feeling of safety that Marta gave everyone and, of course, the treats and hot drink at the top. 🔝
You have to be in fairly good shape. Beautiful views and make it to the summit for the 360 view………..
This snowshoe hike was a highlight of my trip to Tromsø. My guide, Michal, was welcoming, patient, and attentive to his guests. Throughout the hike, he stopped to point out signs of wildlife, teach us about local plants, and share other information about outdoor recreation in the area. My group only included two other guests with hiking experience, so we were able to keep a steady pace and also get to know each other. The weather was extremely cloudy and snowy at the top, but I actually enjoyed the novelty a purely-white landscape just as much as the traditional mountain views! Michal brought hot black currant juice to share at the top, which was delicious. I would highly recommend this outing to anyone who wants to do something active in nature during their time in Tromsø.
Excellent experience! Was great to have such a small and intermediate group. Had varied fitness levels but all felt included. The tour guide Felix an Austrian gentleman (sorry I believe) was excellent - so friendly and helpful. He made the group change order regularly so different people had a chance to lead and helped the group to stay together! Would highly recommend but be aware you do need a suitable level of fitness to do this tour
Worth it! Our tour guide was very professional and we were so excited to reach the summit. Would recommend for the beautiful views and excellent hike.
Our Swiss guide Matthias was brilliant from start to finish, patient and knowledgeable. The snow shoes were in excellent nearly new condition and the hike itself was great, ascending through trees on easy terrain out into open mountainside up to 500m and incredible views up and down to the fjords, mountains and back to Tromso and the mainland. Sweet snacks and warm blackcurrant at the summit was a bonus and we got 10% of equipment hire at the Tromso outdoor store the next day with equally knowledgeable and friendly staff. Totally recommend the hike for getting away from the city and peace and quiet. Also recommend Tromso Outdoor, they were great.
Great exit with snowshoes with about 400m, we saw some reindeer. Great view from the top of a fjord.
