Really great session making a folksy knife from a rail road spike. Excellent and friendly tutorial. Very small group, good vibe, thanks so much!
Thank you for the kind words! We're so glad the railroad spike knife workshop was such an enjoyable experience. Small groups make for a special atmosphere and we love that came through. We'd love to welcome you back to Craftsman Ave for another workshop soon!
Attended the survival knife making class. I was not sure what to expect but this place exceeded every expectation I had. The studio was very neat & well-organized, all the equipment in good order and all of it in a very relaxed atmosphere. There are even some places to grab a snack or a drink nearby. But the best of all was our instructor, Shiloh. She knew a great deal about knife smithing and was excellent at sharing it with us. Last, this sees like I would be a great date place as well as a great parent/kid experience. I cannot say enough good things.
Thank you for such a thoughtful review! We're thrilled the survival knife workshop exceeded your expectations. Shilo is a fantastic guide and her knowledge of knife smithing combined with her teaching style is something we're really proud of. We're glad the shop's organization and relaxed atmosphere stood out, along with the convenient nearby spots for a snack or drink. We love that you see it as both a great date idea and a fun family activity — we'd love to welcome you back to Craftsman Ave for either!
