Die Teufelsbrücke ist ein bemerkenswertes Beispiel für die Meerwassererosion. Geologisch gesehen ist die Teufelsbrücke ein natürlicher Bogen, der vom Meer aus weichen und harten Kalksteinleisten der Antigua-Formation geschnitzt wurde, einer geologischen Unterteilung des flachen nordöstlichen Teils von Antigua.
Das Blockhouse ist eine Backsteinruine hoch über dem Englischen Hafen im Nelson Dockyard Nationalpark mit Blick auf die Südostküste von Antigua. Es wurde im 18. Jahrhundert erbaut und bietet einen freien Blick auf die Küste Antiguas.
An der südlichsten Spitze von Antigua bietet The Lookout, Teil des Militärkomplexes Shirley Heights Lookout, einen atemberaubenden Blick über den gesamten English Harbour. Shirley Heights stammt aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Diese historische Stätte soll vom britischen Militär errichtet worden sein, das damals die Kontrolle über Antigua hatte. Eine großartige Fotogelegenheit!!
Nelsons Werft ist der größte Nationalpark in Antigua und wird bis heute als funktionierende Werft für zahlreiche Yachten und Schiffe genutzt. Die Gebäude der Werft aus dem 18. und 19. Jahrhundert, die vollständig in ihrer ursprünglichen Pracht restauriert wurden, beherbergen moderne Annehmlichkeiten wie Geschäfte, Hotels und Yachthafengeschäfte.
Der Fig Tree Drive führt durch eine Grünfläche von Antigua, vorbei an Regenwäldern und massiven Bananenbäumen (Einheimische nennen Feigen gerne). Straßenverkäufer verkaufen lokale Früchte. Gehen Sie also nicht vorbei, ohne sie nach Mango oder schwarzer Ananas zu fragen. Auf dem Weg kommen Sie an den Seilrutschen vorbei und ja, suchen Sie am Ende nach ein paar Stränden !!
Darkwood Beach bietet einige der schillerndsten Meere und weißen Strände der Insel, vor einer Kulisse von Hügeln und tropischer Forstwirtschaft; die Aussicht ist sowohl panoramisch als auch spektakulär, auch an einem klaren Tag, können Sie Montserrat sehen. Als einer der längsten Strandabschnitte gibt es viel Platz, um alles in sich aufzunehmen und mit warmem, verführerischem Meer, das auf unberührtem Sand plätschert, gibt es viele Gründe, um zu besuchen!

Wenn Sie das Tor verlassen, biegen Sie links ab und folgen Sie der Promenade, bis Sie zur ZONE 7 in der Nähe der Rum Runners By The Sea (ehemals The Coast) und dem Parkplatz Barbuda Express gelangen, wo unser Fortgeschrittener mit einem Schild mit der Aufschrift "Voyages Antigua" steht. Bitte kommen Sie 10 Minuten vor der oben aufgeführten Abfahrtszeit an. Jeder andere Pier erkundigt sich bitte bei der Hafensicherheit nach dem Weg zu unserem Treffpunkt in ZONE 7 in der Nähe der Rum Runners By The Sea (ehemals The Coast) und Barbuda Express Parkplatz. Generally a nice tour. The view is beautiful and Antiguan ocean water is crystal clear. Enjoyed my time in general. Tour guide could be more attentive.
