Eine weitere Geschichte, für die Sarajevo berühmt ist, sind die XIV. Olympischen Spiele, die in unserer Stadt stattfanden. Unsere Tour ist so konzipiert, dass Sie den Geist der Olympischen Spiele erleben und eine Rückblende in die 1980er Jahre bekommen. 1984 fanden in Sarajevo die am besten organisierten Olympischen Winterspiele aller Zeiten statt. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, an einem Tag 3 erstaunliche Berge zu besuchen, beginnend mit dem Olympiastadion Kosevo und der Olympiahalle Zetra, einschließlich des Olympischen Museums. Danach besuchen wir Bjelasnica, Igman und Trebevic und geben Ihnen genug Zeit, um ihren ganzen Charme und ihre Schönheit zu sehen, aber auch faszinierende Geschichten über Olympia, Berge und Legenden der Zeit zu hören.

Die Tour durch die Olympischen Berge von Sarajevo beginnt mit einem Besuch des Olympiastadions, in dem die Eröffnungszeremonien der Olympischen Winterspiele 1984 stattfanden. Für diese Veranstaltung wurde es gründlich renoviert und erweitert. Es ist die Heimat des Fußballclubs FK Sarajevo und der Fußballnationalmannschaft von Bosnien und Herzegowina. Der Verein schlug den neuen Namen Asim Ferhatovic - Hase zu Ehren seiner ehemaligen Fußballer- und Vereinslegende vor. Es ist ein Mehrzweckstadion, das 1947 in der Zeit nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg gebaut wurde. Ehemalige Jugendarbeitsbrigaden aus allen Teilen des Landes waren am Bau des Stadions beteiligt. Im Stadion waren große Fußballmannschaften wie Manchester United, Real Madrid, Inter usw. zu Gast.
Die olympische Halle Zetra wurde für die Olympischen Winterspiele 1984 gebaut. Es wurde als „ultramodern“ bezeichnet und war Austragungsort der Eishockeyspiele und Eisschnelllaufveranstaltungen bei den Olympischen Spielen. In der Olympischen Halle Zetra besuchen wir das Olympische Museum, wo Sie viele Originalgegenstände der Olympischen Winterspiele in Sarajevo finden.
Als erstes ist der Berg Bjelasnica unterwegs, der höchste Teil des Dinarischen Gebirges und heute das beste Skizentrum in Bosnien und Herzegowina. Auf diesem Berg fanden alpine Skidisziplinen der Olympischen Spiele statt. Hier können Sie eine Seilbahnfahrt (optional) oder heißen Tee in einem schönen Berghaus genießen.
Nach der Bjelasnica Olympic Mountain Tour in Sarajevo geht es weiter zum Berg Igman. Auf diesem Berg finden Wettkämpfe im nordischen Skifahren, Biathlon und Springen statt. Sie können sehen, dass springende Hänge immer noch stehen.
Der Berg ist bekannt für Bob- und Rodelwettkämpfe, die 1984 bei den Olympischen Winterspielen in Sarajevo stattfanden. Vom Berg Trebevic genießen Sie das schönste Panorama der Stadt Sarajevo.

Growing up in the 80s, I remember enthusiastically watching the Olympics in Sarajevo. It was a great opportunity to see some of the actual sites from those games! The tour takes you through many wooded, picturesque back roads, which is a nice break from the city. It was especially interesting to hear stories from the local guide describing how the whole community came together to make sure the city was ready to welcome the world for this special event, along with stories of what it was like to live through the tragic events that followed only years later. This tour is recommended for fans of sports and history alike!
Our guide was knowledgeable and well versed about the tour topic. We saw the iconic bobsled , ski jumping, men's alpine, and the Igman Hotel. Due to road construction we were a bit late for our next scheduled tour but our guide called our next guide and arranged all the details so we didn't miss a beat. We learned all sorts of fun facts about the 1984 Winter games and was not disappointed. Only wish that road construction hadn't lost time for us as we didn't get to see the Olympic Stadium, Zetra Hall or the Olympic Museum. This should not in anyway reflect on our guide. We highly recommend him, his company, and tour. Outstanding !!!

Guide was amazing, tour just seems to be lacking something. It was neat to see each place and not have to walk there or take separate trips, but would be neat to see how this could fuse with the Olympic museum in some way (exhibits at each site, a docent that might accompany the tour, etc.) Nothing to blame on the guide or the company, was just a boring topic for be personally maybe.

It is meaningful to see the former olympic site, at the same time as the frontline during the war, in half day. The violence is directly presented through architecture, so as the complicated history of Bosnia in the last half century. Also it is a great combination of natural tour and museum tour. Our tour guide Agan(or Alan? forgive my poor memory) is really good, understandable and friendly. I really enjoyed today!

Alan was my tour guide. I was lucky to be the only person on the tour. Alan took me to all the Winter Olympic locations. The highlights were definitely the abandoned ski jump at Igman and the bobsled track at Trebevica. But i also got to see the abandoned Hotel Igman, the former olympic village, the stadiums and the slalom track. Absolutely fantastic and really blew me away. Thanks Alan!

I took a private tour of the Sarajevo Olympic site. Our driver and guide, Bedo, gave a very detailed explanation. He answered all my questions he could about not only the Olympics, but also Sarajevo's past and present. We visited as many Olympic-related facilities as we could, and I thought it was wonderful that we all took different routes and saw different views at each one. It was an interesting tour that allowed us to see the effects of the civil war from a different perspective, the Olympic site. I recommend it.

The Olympic tour was done on Wednesday, November 22, under winter weather conditions. It had snowed quite a bit the night before. Fortunately, Senad, our driver, was an experienced driver and he reassured us in a special way. Despite the snow, we still went to the ski jumps and the bobsleigh track by car. This made it a special experience. Senad told us a lot, he was aware of everything and gave very interesting information about both Sarajevo and the mountains in a light-hearted manner.
