Auf dieser Tour erfahren Sie mehr über die Überlebensfertigkeiten und mehr über verschiedene Aspekte des Lebens während der Belagerung. Der Überlebenskampf war ein gewöhnliches Ereignis, und die Begeisterung und pure Liebe für das Heimatland waren die eigentliche Motivation. Dies ist definitiv eine der beliebtesten Touren in Sarajevo, wahrscheinlich aufgrund des berühmten Sarajevo-Tunnels und der Tatsache, dass dies die längste Belagerung in der modernen Kriegsführung war. Auf dem Weg zu unserem ersten Ziel erhalten Sie von unseren Reiseleitern eine Einführung, die Ihnen die „Sniper Alley“ (Scharfschützengasse) zeigen, ein Denkmal für brutal getötete Kinder, sowie weitere wichtige Objekte mit Bezug auf den Krieg. Anschließend machen wir einen ersten Halt, um das Museum des Sarajevo-Tunnels zu besuchen, der von genialen und tapferen Bürgern von Sarajevo gegraben wurde. Nach der Ankunft sehen Sie eine große Karte von Sarajevo während der Belagerung mit den feindlichen Linien. Sie sehen sich einen 17-minütigen Film an und werfen einen Blick in die Museumsausstellung. Der Höhepunkt ist der 25 Meter lange Tunnel, den Sie entlanggehen, um einen Eindruck vom Kampf der Sarajevaner während der Belagerung zu erhalten. Nach dieser Erfahrung legen wir auf Wunsch eine kurze Pause ein, um einige Bilder zu machen und den Ort auf eigene Faust zu erkunden.
Nach dem Tunnel geht es weiter von der Entität Föderation Bosnien und Herzegowina in die Entität Republika Srpska zu unserem nächsten Halt: dem Olympiaberg Trebević, wo wir aus einer Höhe von 1.230 m über dem Meeresspiegel einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Stadt genießen können. Die Gäste werden feindliche Linien sehen und hören Kriegsgeschichten. Dies ist ein großartiger Ort, um wirklich schöne Fotos der ganzen Stadt zu machen.
Das Leben ist voller Abenteuer. Freuen Sie sich also auf die Bobbahn der Olympischen Winterspiele, die 1984 in Sarajevo veranstaltet wurden. Auf dem Weg zum Beginn der Strecke haben Sie einen fantastischen Blick von der Seilbahn, die am 6. April 2018 wiedereröffnet wurde. Während Sie die Strecke entlanggehen, werden Sie verstehen, warum sie einer der schönsten verlassenen Orte der Welt und definitiv ein „Muss“ ist! Ihr Reiseleiter ist bereit, ein paar verrückte coole Fotos von Ihnen zu machen.
Der letzte Halt ist der jüdische Friedhof, der zweitgrößte in Europa und ein Anwärter für das UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Dieser Friedhof war während der Belagerung ein Schlachtfeld zwischen der Bosnischen Armee und den serbischen Truppen, daher wird dies auch zu den Themen gehören.
Eine der wichtigsten Gedenkstätten in Sarajevo ist jenes, das den 1621 Kindern gewidmet ist, die während der Belagerung getötet wurden. Die Gedenkstätte sieht sehr interessant aus und veranlasst Betrachter, über seine Bedeutung nachzudenken. Er ist aus Bronze und Glas gefertigt, und die Skulptur symbolisiert einer Mutter, die versucht, ihre Kinder zu schützen. Der Bronzering symbolisiert eine starke runde Verteidigungslinie.

We joined both the city walking tour and the war tour with Adnan, and both were essential to truly understand Sarajevo — an incredible city, incredibly rich in different cultures and history, including very recent history. Adnan was an honest and witty guide who helped us gain a deeper understanding of the city, its people, and what it is like to live there. The tour was very interesting, especially because we had an excellent guide. Adnan is very knowledgeable, as he combines in-depth knowledge of local history with the overall historical events, and he also enriches this with his literary knowledge and personal experiences. Great tour and great guide, Adnan. We enjoyed our walking tour across town on Friday May 8. We decided to book the War Tour for May 9. Adnan knows a lot, born and raised in Sarajevo. Growing up during the Balkan war. Having studied Literature at Filosophy School Univ this altogether makes him a well equipped tour guide for us. We enjoyed it, asking questions too. Well answered. In depth and engaged. We had a good driver too. This tour was worthwhile and impressive.

This tour was amazing. We have had a number of private and group tours, and this was the best. It is a four-hour tour that includes a visit to the tunnel (including walking 100m in the tunnel), a 400m walk down the bobsled track (covered in grafitti, but unfortunately from our perspective the visible war damage is repaired), the Jewish cemetary, and the bridge where the first two victims in the war on Sarajevo were killed. Our guide, Omo, is from the region and was fantastic. The VW Passat was also comfortable for the ride. Omo usually does day tours to Mostar from Sarajevo and we met another Spirit tour guide, Adnan, who also seemed excellent. If we were staying longer, we would do another Spirit tour. Awesome!

The essential Sarajevo tour - you can't visit this city without someone taking you to these locations and explaining their importance. We were absolutely blessed to have Emina Koso as our driver and guide - her personal recounts of lived experiences during the Bosnian war is unparalleled to what you get being guided by someone who speaks of it third-hand. She was also very helpful in providing additional information about the city. If you only do one thing in Sarajevo during your trip, make it this.

Very nice tour. It was doable with children. The tour guide was able to not leave out anything but still keep it appropriate for the age group. We enjoyed the fact that the guide included their own experiences. We were able to use the tour as a springboard to explore independently later.
