The trek with Sapa Sisters has definitely been one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. Being able to enjoy the beautiful landscapes with a local was very cool. Our guide Lomao was very nice and told us so many interesting facts about the rural villages in Sapa and the Hmong culture. I recommend them 100%!
It was a very friendly Guide who spoke good English. She explains everything about her people and customs along the way. She was very flexible in the route, we left from our stay and were also dropped off again after a 5.5 hour walk with beautiful nature and views. The food on the way with a family was delicious! A tip: be prepared for children who want to sell something to you.
The tour was really wonderful and our guide Lan was so accommodating to our needs. The trip was about 5 hours with lunch and transportation back to our hotel included. We chose the medium level hike and even so, it was challenging for us who like to do nature-related things on holidays. I would recommend waterproof shoes and lots of sunscreen or covering because of the elevation, sunburn can happen easily, even with it being cloudy. On the tour, we learned a lot about the history of the land and how to interact with other local villagers. I'm really glad we went with this tour company.
Our family of four had a one day valley trekking tour with Lang. We loved every moment of it! Lang was amazing guide, very considerate and knowledgeable about local history and people.
We had a lovely trip. Sadly, we had a lot of rain, and the tracks were very muddy. Still, the children liked the track of approximately 11 km. Our guide, May, was very friendly and gave a lot of information during the trip. A local family walked with us. They weren’t pushy about selling things, and their kids got along well with ours. Sapa Sisters is highly recommended when looking for a one-day or multiple-day tour. It’s much better than going to Cat Cat village, which is way too touristy!
We chose to do an easy trek in the Muong Hoa Valley thro Lai Chai & Ta Van villages. We were blessed with perfect weather and with an excellent guide, Lan who surprised us with her adorable baby she carried on her back thro the trek! She speaks very good English which makes it easier to understand & appreciate the Hmong culture & practices. I strongly recommend Sapa Sisters for their professionalism & prompt replies on any queries you may have if you thinking of finding a guide for your trip. Thank you Sapa Sisters for making this a wonderful & memorable trek for me!
Our best experience in Vietnam so far. Sy, our guide, who is part of an ethival minority was really open and interesting to talk to. The possibility to pose our questions about the local life was amazing for us. I would definitely recommend a tour with the sapa sisters.
For what was known to be a comfortable trek to the Waterfall of Love, may not be so easy for someone who is elderly or not so fit. It's a lovely hike with peaceful scenery as you pass by gurgling brooks and breathe the clean oxygenated air of the forest. Of course, I had to stop several times to take photos and videos the beautiful forest and streams. Take your time going up or down the steps and rocks. Although it wasn't raining the day I went, but still the air is moist and some rocks slippery with moss or algae. I slipped twice and was lucky to have a handrail to grab onto. Wearing trekking shoes with deep studs didn't help on those concrete steps or rocks. My guide said it was better to wear shoes with softer soles but with deep studs to better navigate the journey. Some steps are quite steep going up or down so better to proceed slowly with caution. The Love Waterfall is worth the journey, as it is quite tall and majestic. The roar of the waterfall will make you forget your tiredness before your return journey.
2km trekking to the deep of the forest under the hot sun is definitely worth it as soon as we see the waterfall. It’s actually not too big but looks absolutely magnificient.
The view was superb! Almost like in a movie setting. All couples and families must go! Very cool feb climate.
