Erleben Sie die reiche Geschichte von São Paulo und Brasilien aus einer anderen Perspektive inmitten des Atlantischen Waldes, mit der Betrachtung historischer Denkmäler und unvergesslicher Ausblicke auf Täler und Küstengebiete durch eine Reihe von Hügeln. Der Serra do Mar State Park ist ca. 50 km von der Innenstadt von São Paulo entfernt und mit dem Auto in ca. 1 Stunde erreichbar. Diese erstaunliche Bergkette erstreckt sich entlang der Süd- und Südostküste Brasiliens und bietet uns atemberaubende Ausblicke. Die Wanderung hat eine Gesamtlänge von 9 km und dauert ca. 5 Stunden, Hin- und Rückweg, der auf einer asphaltierten alten Serpentinenstraße mit geringem Schwierigkeitsgrad mitten im Atlantischen Wald stattfindet. An klaren Tagen haben Besucher einen Blick auf die Küste und eine Reihe von Städten, darunter die erste portugiesische Siedlung in Brasilien, die Stadt Saint Vincent. A great day out that combined some Fascinating history and some very cool wildlife. Serro do Mar has some beautiful rainforest which we walked through and the views out to Santos and the sea were spectacular. Denis was very knowledgeable- particularly with the trees and plants as well as history. He was a great guide and companion! I thought the trip was good value and perfect if you want to escape São Paulo city for a day to see experience rainforest and learn the local history. Also, everything went very smoothly with the arrangements and being picked up from my hotel in the city. Thank you

None not worth the money if I known I wouldn’t bought the tour there was nothing special about the place

Luis was a great guide! Beautiful hike through the jungle where he educated me about all kinds of interesting plants and animals. The view of São Paulo at the top was great. By the end of the day I had made a real friend !

Denis is a very knowledgeble guide, I enjoyed every bit of the tour. Even we witnessed the onset of rainy season, the tour was absolutely amazing. I would go again, out of question.

Wonderful experience. Beautiful scenery. Denis was a great tour guide and we were able to spot monkeys, a snake, a lizard, many birds such as hummingbirds and woodpeckers, fresh tracks from a large cat and he had good knowledge on the many plants. It is a pleasant workout and just the right length of a hike. I highly recommend if you are looking for a good physical activity with great exposure to the nature of the area.

This tour was fantastic from start to finish! Denis picked me up from my hotel in São Paulo and we drove to “Caminhos do Mar” park. Once at the park, the walking tour was a great mix of beautiful scenery, nature and history of the area. Denis was a wonderful guide, and very knowledgeable of the history, flora and fauna of the area. He also packed insect repellent and a picnic lunch. I would recommend that anyone visiting São Paulo take this tour with Denis, you will be happy that you did!

This tour goes trough Parque Estadual Serra do Mar where you'll walk along part of the old road to the city of Santos (road code SP-148). An area filled with atlantic forest, history and awesome views. That alone is very nice. But what made my experience even greater was our guide, Denis. Not only he is very acknowledged about history and the forest, he is very kind and respectful. Thank you mate for the awesome hiking.

Amazing day with Denis!! Very knowledgeable, passionate and just makes you feel in love with Brazil and what it has to offer. I love hiking and he made sure to make it challenging for me.
