Der Winzer von Avantis Estate, Herr Apostolos Mountrichas, verliebte sich in Santorini und die starke Persönlichkeit von Assyrtiko und startete 2012 sein Santorini-Projekt. Er schloss sein Projekt im Jahr 2021 mit der Gründung der Anhydrous Winery ab. Seine Philosophie basiert auf Experimenten mit alten Weinherstellungstechniken, die moderne Weine mit Reinheit und primären Sortenmerkmalen hervorbringen.

The wine guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and made the overall experience worth every dollar. All of the wineries were beautiful and the people were amazing! Definitely put this on your itinerary.

Amazing Santorini Wine Tour! This wine tasting tour was a highlight of our trip thus far! We visited stunning wineries, learned about Santorini’s unique wine culture, and tasted some incredible local wines. The views, the stories, and the flavors were all unforgettable. Our guide, Billy, was fantastic—knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole day even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!
Hailey and I got married in Santorini this past week. We decided to book a private wine tour to learn more about the way wine is made and the different types of wine. Billy was our driver. Billy made our experience so fun that we never wanted it to end. Ever winery was so inviting and professional. We would 10/10 recommend this experience.

The tour was very informative, we tasted a wide selection of wines and beers and some tasty snacks throughout. We were also really lucky that the other two couples on the tour were also on their honeymoon so it was a really lovely afternoon/ evening.
