Reiseverlauf

The organization of the tour leaves nothing to be desired. 2 hours in the Volcano, we have 25 minutes to climb 2 km in a steep climb, with loose stones and irregular floor, in a half-day sun, a real marathon proof, a few minutes to observe the crater and then the descent no less easy! There is very little time left to observe the landscape! 30 min in the hot spring, who venture had to go without much time to enjoy. And then 2 h stopped on the island of Tharissa, unable to return to the boat that was closed. On the beach there is no place to sit in the shade, only in the restaurants, who does not want to eat in the restaurants is wandering in the place with warmth and no comfort. To climb up to the village are more than 200 steps under burning sun, according to the guide, 30 min to climb or descend. Didn't orient about the climb with the donkeys. I believe the stop times at each location should be reviewed. The guide should be more attentive to the needs of the group. It only appeared at certain moments. On the volcano went up without worrying about the members of the group. After the hot spring stop practically day performance was no.
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that the pacing of the tour did not meet your expectations and caused you discomfort. Regarding our guide's pace at the volcano, we would like to clarify that our guides operate under a fixed time schedule. In order to complete the full guided commentary along the path and ensure the group reaches the summit on time, they must maintain a specific speed. However, we understand that this can feel rushed under the midday sun. Your comments regarding the time allocation at the other stops and the lack of communication have been noted. Thank you for helping us do better, and we hope to welcome you back for a much improved experience in the future.
Pleasant boat trip but didn't have the opportunity to disembark on to the volcanic island as the route is steep and the stairs at the bottom to come back to the boat were very rough without a handrail. I did however intend to swim to the thermal spring but was very disappointed with the stairs to get back into the boat. They were just round metal rungs and not suitable for anyone with foot problems. Other boats in the vicinity that I observed had proper wooden steps about 12cm deep attached to the metal rungs. That makes them far more sensible and much easier to use. So in effect I had a round trip on the boat and could not participate in either of the activities.
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the boat trip, but we are truly sorry that the ladder prevented you from swimming in the thermal springs as you had intended. We will look into the issue with the steps immediately to ensure our boat is more accessible for everyone. We appreciate your suggestion and hope to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
Great walk but the glass bottom did not allow us to see much. The climb on the volcano is quite sporty. Too bad not to be able to stay longer on Thirassia so as to be able to visit. I don’t regret booking this getaway
Thank you so much for your review! We’re glad you enjoyed the trip, even though the sea's clarity occasionally affects the glass-bottom views. We appreciate your feedback regarding the volcano hike and Thirasia, and we're thrilled that this experience was truly worth it for you!
EXCELLENT. great guide , good explanation, we were taken in charge beautifully. The Staff was very professional as well.Would reniew the experience !
Thank you so much for your review! We hope to see you again soon.
Great exercise, the guide was amazing. The hot springs were spectacular! I do not do well in cold water. We were there in October & I was still able to do it. Highly recommend!
Touring the volcano was fascinating. Be aware it's a long way up on sometimes rough, rocky path. Gorgeous views from the top!! For the swimming to the hot springs, I was disappointed to learn it was first (before the volcano hike). I didnt want to be wet for the hike, so we stayed on the boat. During shoulder season (now), the hot springs is only warm (not hot). You have to swim a fair distance in the cold water to reach the "warm" springs, then swim back thru the cold water. I probably would still do this tour, but would not have worn our swimsuit under our clothes, if we knew this in advance.
Great! A wonderful trip in a wonderful boat. Nice crew. Walk on the vulcano is a real experience. It's a bit of a walk but the view is really worth it all
We’re happy to hear you had a wonderful time! Thanks for sharing your experience.
It is important to avoid stress knowing how to get there. There's a sloping, donkey descent that takes 25 minutes. Just go down. Plus the time to arrive Fira. There are people who panic as they pass between donkeys. The cable car is an option, 10 euros per person. The experience with the captain, the boat, is not to be missed for this price. Swimming in the waters is excellent. Carry water!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We’re delighted you joined us on the tour.
Many thanks for this beautiful excursion of a few hours to the volcano of Santorini + swimming in the warm waters. Left alone with two little girls of 6 years, we were very well received. The boat was a real "pirate ship", few people, we had good explanations in English and French and were able to swim in the hot waters, with confidence and safety. On the boat, you have fries to help children who are not yet swimming well enough (which was the case for my two daughters). The boat left on time and returned on time (I say that versus some comments read before). This excursion will remain our best memory of Santorini! Thank you, Dakoutros!
