Genießen Sie eine Ganztagestour zur Erkundung des Landesinneren und der Küste der Insel Santiago – die beste Art, die Kultur, Geschichte und Landschaften Kap Verdes kennenzulernen. Nach der Abholung am Morgen fahren Sie nach São Domingos, Órgãos und Picos, um die beeindruckenden Berge zu bewundern. Weiter geht es nach Assomada City, wo Sie den lokalen Markt besuchen und das tägliche Inselleben erleben können. Machen Sie Halt in Boa Dentro, um den größten und ältesten Baum Kap Verdes zu sehen, den 700 Jahre alten Kapokbaum. Besuchen Sie den Naturpark Serra Malagueta und genießen Sie die atemberaubende Aussicht aus 1000 Metern Höhe über dem Meeresspiegel. Fahren Sie nach Tarrafal City, um das historische Konzentrationslager zu erkunden, entspannen Sie sich am Tarrafal Beach und genießen Sie Zeit zum Schwimmen und Mittagessen. Am Nachmittag fahren Sie entlang der Ostküste zum Dorf Rabelados und anschließend weiter über Calheta nach Pedra Badejo, um die größte Bananenplantage des Landes zu besichtigen. Edmilson has been very kind and careful in driving me around the Island stopping any time I asked for. Also some places are not to miss on this day tour: Assomada, Tarrafal, Serra de Malagueta, Rabaledos village and all the glimpes of rural areas and people along the route. Do not forget to take a look at Pico de Antonia silhouette on the way back to Praia when the sun is about to set.

Fabulous day-tour around the island with a dedicated, knowledgeable guide, Eddie. We completed a comprehensive circuit from Praia up to the north, then back south via the western side of the island. Eddie's English is superb and he does all he can to make the tour as interesting and exciting as possible. If you're planning to visit other islands, get in touch with Eddie or his colleagues to get the latest on inter-island travel options as they're hard to figure out from abroad.
