Santa Ynez Valley Rad- und Weinprobe

Nice bike ride through some of the Santa Ynez Valley vineyard areas. The wine tastings were fewer than anticipated, but there were some good ones in the lineup. Our guide William, kept a very leisurely pace and provided a lot of information on the places we passed & visited as well as some background on the wine we tasted. In addition, he served us a little lunch along with a tasting of the wines after the view ride.

Amazing; even during an October heatwave! Impeccable experience for our family of four. The tour is capped at eight, so it was great experience meeting two other couples; everything was a smooth experience including shuttle pickup at our VRBO, drop-off, the e-bikes, the ride, the history, the enthusiastic guide, stops, the incredible picnic lunch, and of course the wine! Worth every penny! And hey, remember to tip your awesome guide! He made the experience amazing; even for a 60 year old who hasn’t ridden a bike in more than a decade!

William picked us up from our hotel and drove us to Santa Ynez. We called the olive ranch home base where our bikes were waiting for us. William led us on a 17 mile loop on backroads where we saw llamas, fields of grapes, wineries, lavender farms, and the cute town of Solvang. Back at the olive ranch, we had lunch and wine in the olive grove, did an olive oil tasting, then got back in the van and headed out for wine tastings. Great day all around!

We had such an amazing day with William! All of our equipment was top notch and the bike ride, lunch under the oak trees, and wine tasting were absolutely lovely. William was a wonderful guide and taught us so much about the local vinyards, wines, and wineries. It was a perfect day and we would love to do it again sometime.

The E-bike experience by vineyards and lavender farms was spectacular. William, an excellent tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the wines and areas we toured. After cycling, we enjoyed an olive tasting, a wonderful lunch including a 3 wine tasting, and then attended a wine tasting at a nearby winery. An excellent time full of fun and adventure.

Beautiful bike tour of the Santa Ynez valley! Our guide William was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the E-bikes as a way to see beautiful views that we most likely wouldn't have seen otherwise. The bike tour was followed by a nice lunch with wine pairing and then a tasting in a beautiful winery. This is a great day trip when in the Santa Barbara area.

WOW! Highly Recommend! William was great! We met at the meeting place and got our bikes and instructions. This was our first time using e-bikes. We had time to practice. We stopped every few miles in a shady area where William talked about the grapes and the area. After riding 16 total miles, we had the olive oil/Balsamic Vinegar tasting, then William set out a great picnic lunch in the shade. We enjoyed some wines with lunch and then drove in our vehicle to the second wine tasting. All wine was consumed after the bikes were parked. We are so glad to have chosen this event while in the area. Very Special!

This five-hour experience was a highlight of our most recent visit to Santa Ynez. So much fun to see the area from bikes, and the E-bikes allow you to peddle as much or as little as you wish. William does a nice job giving occasional breaks to inform about and showcase the various sites along the route. He is both service and safety minded. The experience includes a fun olive oil tasting, and delicious picnic lunch with three wines, and concludes with a visit to a very scenic local winery with a tasting flight of five different wines. Such a fun way to experience so much of what the local area has to offer. My wife and I highly recommend it.

We had a great day. The ride was fantastic with beautiful views followed by olive oil and wine tasting and a delicious lunch. The Rideau Vineyard was the perfect place to end our tour. William was an excellent guide. I would highly recommend spending your day touring with him.

This was great. It starts off with a beautiful bike ride to Solvang and then through the Vineyards. We stopped at a Lavender farm. Then came back to the meeting point where we had an olive oil tasting. Then a wonderful picnic lunch with wine, then went to a tasting after that. We had the best weather so this was a perfect afternoon out to celebrate our Anniversary. William is awesome and knows a lot about the area and the wine.
