Highly recommended! I had a great collaboration around my transfers from and to airport as well as from nungwi to stone town. Highly punctual and friendly drivers!
We found ZanEco tours to be timely, professional and courteous. Upon arrival, Juma met us at the airport and drive us to our hotel in a clean and comfortable van. On departure, Juma was at our hotel on time, and drove us to the airport. During our drive, he kept us informed about Zanzibar and it's culture. We also used ZanEco for a guided tour of Prison Island and Stonetown. Once again, they were timely, courteous and informative. One minor point is that our guide could have been a little more enthusiastic. Overall, an excellent experience.

They even suggested getting picked up a bit earlier on our way back to make sure everything went smoothly, and they messaged us on WhatsApp to check in and ensure every transfer went off without a hitch. Exceptional service - reliable, punctual, professional, and personable. Comfortable and well-maintained vehicles. Juma also seems to know *everybody*, and works with an array of other excellent local providers to offer genuinely local excursions, outings, experiences, visits and so on (e.g. Spice Farm visit, Jozani Forest, cookery classes and a snorkelling trip.) Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Made everything so smooth and such a pleasure. 10/10…
I cannot recommend Juma and his team highly enough. Simply excellent, reliable and professional in every aspect. Nice, comfortable, well-looked-after vehicles, and expert driving, whatever the road surface (!!). Juma is also so knowledgeable about Zanzibar, and really interesting to chat with along the way. He works with other excellent local guides, venues and attractions - so each activity we did (eg Jozani Forest) we were in the hands of really interesting and skilled Zanzibari colleagues. An all-round great experience.
Our driver was very prompt and responsive. We had arranged for 9:15pm to meet at our hotel lobby and I asked at 8:30pm if he could come at 9pm. He actually came a little early at 8:55pm. I had a duffel bag and my sister had a rolling suitcase. Our previous driver had held both duffel bags so I was actually a little disappointed he didn’t offer to take mine. However he loaded the bags in and out of the car and wished us safe travels. Overall it was a great way to get to airport but if you’re needing assistance for bags, I’d say it depends on the situation.

Our driver was waiting outside as soon as we walked out of the airport with our name on a sign. He helped us with our luggage and getting in the van. He was very knowledgeable and gave us info about the island. We will be using them for other excursions during our trip!
