What a wonderful evening learning about San Sebastián while enjoying fabulous Pintxos and wine, expertly guided by Kai. Very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the food, history and wider region, topped off by a few laughs along the way. Highly recommend Kai as a guide.

A great evening and a really good introduction to San Sebastián. Kai was an excellent guide — knowledgeable, easy company, and good at pacing the evening so it never felt rushed. He clearly knows the bars and the people in them. The food was the star. Standouts for us were the goat cheese, the duck breast, the beef cheek and the French toast dessert — all excellent, and all things we’d never have found on our own. The wine matched well throughout. If you’re new to the city and want to understand how pintxos actually work before striking out on your own, this is the way to start. Highly recommended

I took the early evening tour and loved it. Guide Jon was very friendly, informative, engaging and accommodating of some food allergies and preferences in our group. There were 10 people in our English-speaking group from a variety of countries, and it was so fun getting to know everyone. The pintxos and wine/cider were delicious. I felt comfortably full at the end, and also not too intoxicated (which I was afraid of after having a drink at each stop…I think the pacing and food helped). Delicious food and great guide. Highly recommend!

What an incredible way to begin our time in San Sebastian. From the moment we met Kai to the end of the evening, the experience was seamless and truly exceptional. He introduced us to some of the most delicious and creative pintxos we could have imagined—each stop was thoughtfully chosen and beautifully curated. He had a deep knowledge of local cuisine, wine, and Basque culture, but what made the evening truly special was his warm, engaging personality. He made us feel completely at ease and added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. This was more than just a food tour—it was an unforgettable night filled with flavor, culture, and wonderful company. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

My wife and I enjoyed an amazing food tour last night in San Sebastian led by Kai. Kai was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and knew all the great pintxo restaurants in the old city. His relationships with the restaurant owners allowed us to avoid lengthy lines at some of the most popular restaurants in the Old Town. Our group was only six people so it was both very enjoyable and easy to hear Kai’s descriptions of Sang Sebastian and the delicious foods we were eating. My wife and I highly recommend this Tore company and if possible, having Kai as your guide. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t go on this tour earlier so we could’ve enjoyed more of Kai‘s recommendations about San Sebastián, area hikes and other activities. And also, we would have loved to revisit some of these restaurants. Overall, the food and wine were absolutely spectacular and the guide was fantastic. 5++++ stars.

Kai promised a gastronomic experience in San Sebastián—and he definitely didn’t disappoint! I’ve done quite a few food tours across Spain over the past couple of years, and Kai’s tour was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had. Our guide Kai was absolutely excellent. He was very friendly, and taught us a lot about the city and region as well as the food. Everything we ate was delicious, no way we would have found it all ourselves.

The tour was fantastic! Our guide, Kai, was excellent. He expertly curated a selection of five pinxtos locations. He was incredibly knowledgeable about both the food and the history of the city, and was just overall a fun guide. He also gave us great recommendations for other bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this tour, particularly towards the start of your stay in the city since it’s a great way to get acclimated.
