Meine Tour führt Sie zu einem ikonischen ersten Halt aus dem Jahr 1888, dem fabelhaften Hotel Del Coronado, kurz „Del“ genannt, einem unglaublichen Hotel direkt am Meer. Als nächstes besuchen wir den wunderschönen Balboa Park mit seiner schönen spanischen Architektur, die zur Feier der Eröffnung des Panamakanals erbaut wurde, und vielen kleinen Häusern aus der ganzen Welt. Jetzt fahren wir nach Süden, um die atemberaubende Küste von La Jolla mit ihren zerklüfteten Stränden und in der Sonne sonnenden Robben zu besuchen. Zeit, nach Süden zu fahren und kurz anzuhalten, um die Klippen und Surfer der Sunset Cliffs zu beobachten, bevor wir das Cabrillo National Monument mit der besten Aussicht auf San Diego erreichen. Unser letzter Stopp wird in der Altstadt sein und Sie haben genügend Zeit, das köstliche mexikanische Essen zu probieren und eine Margarita zu genießen, bevor Sie zu Ihrem Hotel oder zum Flughafen zurückkehren. Wenn Sie weniger Zeit an einem Ort und mehr an einem anderen verbringen möchten, ist das völlig in Ordnung. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, Ihnen Amerikas schönste Stadt zu zeigen, Sie werden es lieben!!!

Fahren Sie die Orange Avenue entlang und betreten Sie das berühmte Hotel Del Coronado.
Sehen Sie botanische Gärten und liebevolle spanische Architektur.
Sehen Sie Seelöwen, die sich im wunderschönen La Jolla in der Sonne sonnen.
Sehen Sie die wunderschönen Klippen und Surfer an den wunderschönen Klippen bei Sonnenuntergang, während wir vorbeifahren.
Auf dem Weg zum Cabrillo National Monument fahren wir am Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery vorbei. Spektakuläre Ausblicke auf den Pazifischen Ozean und weitreichende Ausblicke auf die Bucht von San Diego. Sie können die gesamte Innenstadt und die Insel Coronado sehen. Sie haben ein Besucherzentrum, einen schönen Wanderweg vorbei am kleinen Leuchtturm, den man besteigen kann, und eine unglaubliche Aussicht rundherum.
Machen Sie Halt im Old Town Historic Park und schauen Sie sich dort um, es ist der Geburtsort Kaliforniens und der Ort, an dem alles begann. Sie werden sehen, wie sie vor dem Café Coyote in der San Diego Avenue handgemachte Tortillas herstellen. Toller Ort, wenn Sie köstliches mexikanisches Essen und eine Margarita genießen möchten.

Darren was an outstanding tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and could talk in great detail about the history of the many sites on the San Diego tour. His engaging style made the tour come alive. He was also very kind and caring and offered us water and snacks throughout the duration of the tour. He was a great conversationalist, and we felt like we had known him for many years. We recommend this tour without reservation and would be glad to have Darren as our tour guide again someday.

We got a great over view of the city. Comfortable and clean car. Our guide knew good spots to stop and shop. Learned San Diego history plus the current trends of the areas. So much better than trying to drive myself. He knew the traffic patterns and easier ways to go. Plus pickup /drop off was at my hotel!

We booked our tour for the full day. We are 2 women with limited mobility and Darren could not have been more accommodating. Brand new car with snacks and water. Pick up was spot on time and Darren was engaging, interesting and full of information. We felt as if he was a relative giving us a tour. Darren’s itinerary missed nothing. We asked to stop for lunch and he took us to a great pub for fish and chips. Don’t hesitate to book Darren. He is open to any suggestions. Next time we want to do his wine tour! Thanks, Darren.
