Das charmante Coronado ist nur eine kurze Fahrt von der Innenstadt von San Diego entfernt, aber es fühlt sich wie eine Welt entfernt an! Wir werden durch die Straßen schlendern und uns Häuser für mehrere Millionen Dollar, wunderschöne Landschaften, einzigartige Architektur und natürlich den Strand ansehen. Nach einem kurzen Zwischenstopp für einen süßen Leckerbissen werden wir diese Strandstadt weiter erkunden, in der Künstler, Flieger und Innovatoren lebten.

Wir werden diese Strandstadt erkunden und mit Künstlern, Fliegern und Innovatoren in ihre Geschichte eintauchen.
Voller malerischer Geschäfte und erstklassiger Schaufensterbummel starten wir unsere Tour im Herzen der Innenstadt von Coronado im Rotary Park. Wir werden die Hauptstraße entlang spazieren und auch abseits der Touristenpfade interessante Architektur gleich hinter der Orange Avenue erkunden. Später holen wir uns einen Snack, bevor wir in einem einzigartigen Geschäft vorbeischauen.
Dieses klassische Revival-Gebäude wurde 1890 gegründet und 1909 fertiggestellt. Wir werden etwas über den Mann erfahren, der es finanziert hat, den Architekten, der es gebaut hat, und wenn es geöffnet ist, werden wir einen Blick hinein werfen.
Diese wunderschöne gotische Kirche hat wunderschöne Steinarbeiten und wunderschöne Buntglasfenster.
Wir besuchen ein lokales Museum (je nach Verfügbarkeit), um Artefakte und Fotos anzusehen, die die Geschichten von Coronados Vergangenheit und den Bürgern zum Leben erwecken.
Dieser kleine, kreisförmige Park ist von wunderschönen Häusern umgeben und zeigt Flaggen und Ausrüstung, die die militärische Vergangenheit und Gegenwart von Coronado beleuchten.
Der Coronado Strand wurde routinemäßig zu einem der Top 10 Strände in den USA gewählt und bietet einen spektakulären Blick auf Point Loma und an klaren Tagen auf Mexiko. Wir werden über die Häuser sprechen, die dem Strand zugewandt sind, und wenn wir Glück haben, werden wir einige wild lebende Tiere im Meer sehen. Dann schlendern wir zum größten Gebäude am Strand - dem Hotel del Coronado.

This was an amazing experience with Jennifer! I went with my mom and dad and we learned so much history and saw beautiful sights along all of Coronado! Jennifer is very knowledgeable and funny. It was a long walk but definitely don’t feel like it because you’re busy looking at the scenery! Thank you for this wonderful tour Jennifer see you next time!!
The guide, Jennifer, is all about providing excellent customer service. She gives young helpful information to get you to and from the tour. Great historical and cultural narrative is given along with practical info as to restrooms, food, and shopping. Along the way and at the end great suggestions are provided as to what the rest of your day/vacation. We are repeat customers!

This tour featured interesting architecture, historical anecdotes, and the best of Coronado all in an entertaining and well-paced experience. We even stopped along the way for gelato! Jennifer knows a lot about the rich history of the area and was also very attentive to those of us on the tour. Would highly recommend.

Jennifer was knowledgeable, funny, and very kind for our party of two. The tour includes a gelato stop which is not only delicious but a great rest time. We enjoyed seeing the sights of Coronado that were off the beaten path. Great way to experience the island (not an island) by foot!

This was a great experience for our annual girls trip. Jennifer was a fantastic guide (quite funny too) as she showed us around the Coronado peninsula. Very knowledgeable. As a group of 10 we booked a private tour - still very affordable. Be prepared for a lot of walking - but well worth it. There's also a great gelato break! Really got the insiders point of view about Coronado!
