Meister Takeda und Iai-Mugairyu Meister Takeda Hougyoku ist der Leiter der Internationalen Iaido-Organisation Hougyoku-kai. Die größte Mugairyu-Organisation und praktiziert die reinste, traditionell treueste Form von Mugairyu. Er ist weltweit anerkannt, nachdem er Auszeichnungen vom Orden der schottischen Samurai erhalten hat und in einem Werbevideo von Tokio auf einer internationalen Tagung aufgetreten ist. Sie brauchen jahrelange Erfahrung im Üben von Iai, bevor Sie in der Lage sind, ein echtes Schwert sicher zu führen. Die Verwendung eines echten Katanas durch einen unerfahrenen Schwertkämpfer birgt sowohl das Risiko, sich selbst und die Teilnehmer um Sie herum zu verletzen, als auch das Risiko, das Schwert zu verbiegen oder zu beschädigen. Selbst wenn Sie eine Versicherung haben, ist es unmöglich, den Schaden eines eventuell auftretenden Unfalls auszugleichen. Um Unfälle zu vermeiden und allen Beteiligten – Ihnen, den anderen Teilnehmern, den beteiligten Lehrern usw. – ein beruhigendes Gefühl zu geben, werden wir bei dieser Erfahrung nur Schein-Katana verwenden.

Best traditional samurai experience

The instructor was patient and professional to demostrate basic skills in holding a sword, and to explain the virtues and soirits of a samurai. He also showed his impressive speed and accuracy in various fighting gestures. Absolute stunning experience!

It was a very nice experience. The instructors present were very welcoming, professional, with a real desire to make known their martial art and pass on their passion. The great master Hogyoku Takeda was present, and I had the honor of seeing him perform a kata. A strong moment, very martial, full of mastery and tradition. As a Kyokushin karate practitioner and instructor, I was particularly pleased with this introduction to iaïdō. The master and his student were very professional and disciplined. I was taught a couple of techniques and managed to defeat my past self. The approach was very personal. I definitely recommend!
It was amazing experience bridging Samurai history, swordsmanship, bushido and inner peace. The instructors were kind and helpful and the demonstrations were very good. I can only warmly recommend this for anyone who has an interest in this.
