Hier werden wir noch einmal über Amir Tamer sprechen. Er träumte davon, die beste Moschee der Welt zu bauen - im Inneren erfahren Sie mehr darüber und entdecken alte Legenden. Wir werden von außen sehen!
Die Hazrat Khizr Moschee wurde im 19. Jahrhundert wieder aufgebaut und ersetzte die im 13. Jahrhundert zerstörte Moschee. Die ursprüngliche Moschee an dieser Stelle stammt aus dem 8. Jahrhundert und diese Moschee wurde an der Stelle eines zoroastrischen Tempels errichtet. Wir werden von innen sehen!
Der Gedenkkomplex Shakhi-Zinda ist eines der geheimnisvollen architektonischen Denkmäler von Samarkand. Es wird angenommen, dass sich hier das Grab von Kusam ibn Abbas befindet, einem Mitarbeiter des Propheten Muhammad selbst. Wir werden von außen sehen!

Samarkand is a great city. This tour gives me a very good understanding about the city and its history. The length and the depth of the tour is appropriate for anybody. It is 4 hours tour and covering key historical sites in the city. If you decide to dive deeper, you can do so individually. Our tour guide, Samandar (Sam), even gave us overview of additional places to visit in Samarkand. I highly recommend this tour company for their professionalism. Special thanks to Sam for his knowledge sharing and kindness.

Very nice and extensive explanations about the history, culture and facts of the city. Sitora did a wonderful job as a guide. She had a folder with pictures to clarify stuff, and was open for any questions.

Pro: Our guide was a very enthusiastic student who loved history and very happy to share his knowledge in excellent English. Great insight we never would have had otherwise. Misunderstanding: We got to Registan Square and admired from outside. Guide said going in was not included, which he probably meant the entrance fee, which we realized not included, but we thought he meant there wasn't time on the program to go in. Tour was listed as 0900-1400. At noon we got to the last place and he declared tour was over. Didn't ask if we wanted to (pay) to go into Registan, which we would have, had we been asked. Con: Guide said disparaging things about the ethnic group I belong to, although he didn't know that. Made us feel uncomfortable.
