We did this tour with our teenaged children, my husband’s parents and his sister. The meeting point was easy to find and we had our guide’s (the amazing Caroline) phone number in case of problem. My mother-in-law gets tired with walking and Caroline made sure to find lots of seats in the shade wherever possible when we stopped to listen to her, and was very attentive. She was very interesting to listen to and we learned a lot about the history and geography of Salisbury. Everyone in our group enjoyed it, which is no mean fit considering the age disparity (14 to 83 years old!).
I have already reviewed our U3A group walking tour of Salisbury. I mentioned how good he was but failed to give his name. It is Phil Richards and I rate him very highly
Salisbury is quite an interesting town. We covered most of the town and happened to be there on market day, Saturday. Lots of fun! Also seeing the best original copy of the Magna Carta is something that every person should do. Amazing....
"We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed exploring Salisbury and experiencing the lively market day atmosphere. Visiting the Magna Carta is truly a special highlight, and we’re delighted you found it as inspiring as we do. We appreciate you taking the time to share your impressions and hope to welcome you on another tour in the future!"

This is a concentrated informative history and pictorial experience for the history buff. Caroline was a great guide and took her time even though we were late starting. Can't recommend her or the tour enough!

We had the immense pleasure of being accompanied by our guide Michael Heaton. He has an immense wealth of knowledge and has personally worked on many projects in Salisbury. Not only documenting but restoring as well. Don’t think twice. The tour is well worth it!
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your tour with us and appreciate your recommendation.
Andy was very knowledgeable and brought the Salisbury walk to life with historical facts, stories and anecdotes. This ancient town is full of wonderful buildings stretching back hundreds of years but our group particularly enjoyed the Salisbury Cathedral talk while we stood outside this stunning edifice.
