Mit Transporte y Turismo del Eje fahren wir vom vereinbarten Ort ab, legen unterwegs auf Anfrage Zwischenstopps ein, erreichen das Cócora-Tal, wo wir mit einem zweisprachigen Reiseführer einen Spaziergang beginnen, betreten den Palmenwald und können die Natur in ihrer Gesamtheit genießen. Dieser Ort ist auch der Lebensraum des majestätischen Kondors der Anden.
Wir kehren zum Fahrzeug zurück und fahren in Richtung Salento. In der Stadt können Sie entlang der Königsstraße spazieren, wo Sie neben den typischen Kolonialfassaden, den imposanten Balkonen und den freundlichen Menschen auch Kunsthandwerk und lokalen Handel sehen können Das ist eine weitere seiner Attraktionen.
Bei der Ankunft auf der Farm sind sie für die Führung auf Englisch oder Spanisch über die Wunder des Kaffees verantwortlich. Am Ende der Tour wird der Tourist am Ausgangspunkt abgesetzt

We loved the tour! It was a lovely experience from start to finish. Dahiana is a great guide: close, friendly and always attentive to every detail, which made everything even more special. Santiago, the driver, was also great, very professional and making the journey super comfortable. The Cocora Valley fascinated us, it is an impressive place that we will certainly remember always. In addition, we loved being able to get to know from within the work on a coffee farm in Buenos Aires; it was a very authentic and interesting experience. Definitely a highly recommended tour. We had a great day on the Cocora Valley, Salento & Coffee farm tour with Sergio. He was super friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience even better. The scenery in Cocora Valley was stunning, Salento was lovely with good food and free time to explore, and the coffee farm visit was really interesting and well explained. Quick tip: wear long sleeves and pants for the coffee farm, as there are quite a few mosquitoes. Overall, everything was well organized, the drive felt safe, and we had a fun, memorable day. Highly recommend!
A wonderful experience. A landscape without equal. Guide Eduar and our driver Luis, both excellent service. We were picked up and returned to the airport at the end of the day. Eduar has a lot of knowledge of the area. Recommended 100%

I’ll be honest there were definitely good and bad parts of this tour. I only had one day in Quindio region. My flight was changed the night before but luckily, my guide Juan Pablo and driver, Jorge were able to adapt their schedule. They were at the airport ready for me as soon as the plane landed. Both were very friendly and engaged in conversation. We stopped for a small breakfast then we went on to Valle de Cocora. It was beautiful to see the tallest wax palms in the world. The region is very green and luscious. Juan Pablo took lots of great pictures of me which was helpful since I was a solo traveler. We visited the Coffee farm which was very interesting. I never knew the process for growing coffee and you learn how it all works from bean to cup. Now for the bad part. Juan Pablo was on his phone most of the time, answering questions from other travelers interested in tours. I appreciate the hustle because we’re all trying to make that bread but I also paid for a private tour and felt like I was being ignored at times. After the Valle de Cocora, I was still full from breakfast but Juan Pablo insisted we could stop for lunch and there was time in our schedule. The restaurant was okay but they did overcharge me by 50 percent. Juan Pablo said we could go back and say something to management which I appreciated but it was really a few dollars and wasn’t worth arguing over to me. Then Juan Pablo told me we had to go because we had to rush over to the coffee farm. We did the coffee farm tour and then had about half an hour left to visit Salento. By the time we got there, it was dark and it was still great to see but I think it would have been better to view during the day. I was annoyed because I wasn’t hungry for lunch and we could have skipped that stop altogether and visited Salento during the day. I made it back to the airport just in time for boarding which seemed unnecessarily stressful. Overall I think it was worth it because it’s such a beautiful region and I got door to door service but I think time management could be improved.
