Der Reiseleiter holt Sie von Ihrem Hotel ab. Ihre Tour beginnt mit einem Besuch in Sakkara. Dort besichtigen Sie die Stufenpyramide des Djoser, das älteste Steingebäude der Geschichte, erbaut von König Djoser. Anschließend besuchen Sie die antike Stadt Memphis, die alte Hauptstadt Ägyptens, die um 3000 v. Chr. von König Menes gegründet wurde. Dort sehen Sie antike Tempel der Pharaonen, den Königspalast und die Statue von Ramses II. Weiter geht es nach Dahschur, wo Sie die Rote Pyramide aus rötlichem Stein und die Knickpyramide, die König Snofru gewidmet ist, besichtigen. Am Ende des Tages kehren Sie schließlich zu Ihrem Hotel zurück.

Der Reiseleiter holt Sie von Ihrem Hotel ab und unternimmt einen Ausflug zur Stufenpyramide des Djoser, dem ältesten bedeutenden Steingebäude der Welt. Sie wurde in der 3. Dynastie (um 2630 v. Chr.) für König Djoser erbaut. Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind das Museum von I Mhotep, das Grab eines hohen Beamten, die Pyramide von König Titi und die Pyramide von König Unas.
Nach diesem Transfer nach Memphis, das von König Menes gegründet wurde und während des Alten Reiches die Hauptstadt des alten Ägypten war, galt es über 3000 Jahre lang als Zentrum der Herrschaft und Kultur. Die erste Hauptstadt Ägyptens erreichte die Stadt Höhepunkt des Prestiges unter der 6. Dynastie als Zentrum für die Verehrung von Ptah, dem Gott der Schöpfung und der Kunstwerke. Die Alabaster-Sphinx, die den Ptah-Tempel bewacht, dient als Denkmal für die frühere Macht und das Ansehen der Stadt. Die Memphis-Triade, bestehend aus dem Schöpfergott Ptah, seiner Gemahlin Sekhmet und ihrem Sohn Nefertem, bildete den Schwerpunkt der Anbetung in der Stadt. Memphis lehnte kurz nach der 18. Dynastie mit dem Aufstieg von Theben und dem Neuen Königreich ab und wurde unter den Persern wiederbelebt, bevor es nach der Gründung von Alexandria fest auf den zweiten Platz fiel und die Statue von Ramses II-16 Meter hoch sah, die Alabasrar-Sphinx
Sie erkunden die Stadt weiter. Anschließend fahren Sie Richtung Süden und besuchen die Rote Pyramide und die Knickpyramide in Dahschur. Dahschur ist eine berühmte königliche Nekropole in Ägypten und beherbergt viele berühmte Pyramiden, darunter die Rote und die Knickpyramide des Königs Snofru. Die Stätte liegt etwa 40 km von Kairo entfernt. Sie werden zurück zu Ihrem Hotel gebracht.

We chose the driver only option for this tour. Rashad, our driver, was on time, and very accommodating, in that we could choose the order of the places we visited. We were provided with a drink and a chocolate bar, which was nice. Rashad was a great driver and totally professional, and our tour went for the full eight hours. We enjoyed our day very much.
Unfortunately I don’t think that our guider George did a good job. During the tour he was consistently working on his cell phone. Not only almost no time to talk about the trip in the car on the way, but even at the destination spots, most time he only gave us very limited information than ask us to visit the places ourself while we saw a lot of guiders were with their tourists and explain a lot in the spots, for example, in Memphis. We feel very disappointed.
George was a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable. Vans can be a little better since the drive was long and the seats we not the most comfortable. But seamless experience, the guide was not out for tips and gave us a wonderful experience!
Excellent way to visit Dashur, Memphis and Saqqara pyramids. Priori knowledge of the sites makes the experience much more valuablr. All went well with our driver.

The good: My driver was very personable, flexible, and safe. To Improve: I found communication from the tour company about includes/excludes confusing, and not all of the includes listed on the voucher were provided. Also, I couldn't get in touch with the tour company until the morning of my tour.
Mr Hamdy provided excellent service for our day trip. He was punctual, polite, and engaged in good conversation throughout the journey. He was flexible with our itinerary for the day visiting Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur, and we were accommodated for our hotel changeover - collecting us from our Giza hotel after checkout and later dropping us at our new hotel in Zamalek. We felt comfortable leaving our luggage in the car for the day (note: security required luggage to be briefly removed when entering the Saqqara site). Having the car for the full day meant we could explore all the pyramids at our own pace. Travel tip: For lunch, we recommend Blue Lotus restaurant, just 5 minutes from the Saqqara complex, which serves fresh, local Egyptian food, with a daily changing buffet menu, and is very affordable.
Well organised tour with friendly experienced guide and driver, on time and attentive. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in ancient history. Makes you realise there is so much more to Pyramids than those at Giza.
We went on a private day tour to the Sakkara Pyramids & Memphis & Dahshur Pyramids. It was such a unique experience, one of seven wonders of the ancient world.
We had a nice driver who took us to Sakkara, Dahshur, and Memphis. It's highly recommended to get a car to avoid the heat. Thanks to Belal for showing us around!
