Our group of 9 had fun exploring the local landmarks in the instructions and being a little silly together, but I would hesitate to go with this organizer again or recommend to others (especially if it's your first scavenger hunt). Most of what we experienced as concerns seems easily fixable so hopefully they take care of it! The first concern was that the meeting point was ~2 miles from the landmarks in the challenge, so it would of course have taken us nearly the whole 2-hour time slot to walk to the landmarks and back to our cars. It would have been more efficient to be instructed to meet closer to the landmarks since we ended up driving and parking near the landmarks for the sake of speed anyway. We needed WhatsApp to participate, which was not clear ahead of time, so some folks had to download and sign up for it when we arrived. We would have preferred to have the option of a simple group text, or to have the host just work with a few of the people in our group via our choice of WhatsApp or text. The instructions file needed more organization; the "extra credit" challenges were too far away from the other content and there were a bunch of pages that we didn't use at all because they weren't about the challenges. The challenge for the St Paul Hotel was extremely confusing. Based on how we understood the instructions, we were to find a bench and statue related to a two year timeframe in the history on the hotel's website, and when we had scoured everywhere that made sense for the hotel historical notes of those two years and was publicly accessible, the clue we got from the host had nothing to do with the historical notes or the hotel. (I'm trying not to give anything away, but one famous Charles was referenced on the hotel website and a completely different famous Charles had something to do with the clue from the host.) Multiple other challenge landmarks were closed (on a Saturday midday, so it's not like we were doing this on a strange day/time) or no longer had the features listed in the challenge description. It would be helpful to number the challenges and extra credit challenges to make it easier for the participants and host to communicate and track what's achieved.
