Außerdem können Sie nicht das ganze Dorf vollständig erkunden, da wir in jedem Schloss strenge Termine haben. Wenn Sie länger im Dorf bleiben möchten, können Sie selbst einen weiteren Tagesausflug organisieren, da sich unweit des Stadtzentrums ein Bahnhof befindet. It was a lovely afternoon out. Comfortable minivan, very knowledgeable and personable guide(Gaspard). The two wineries were excellent as were the two specialist guides. St Emilion is a very pretty village for strolling around.

We opted for a smaller tour size (there were 8 pax in our minibus) compared to larger coach sized groups. Very pleased we took the smaller more intimate option This allowed for much better conversation with our guide and wine estate hosts. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fluent in English, which was very useful. We had 2 kids with us and our guide was excellent in distracting them while the adults were in the vineyards or in the tasting room. Thank you, Gaspard! The visit to St Emillion was also fascinating, although very touristy, and a short visit during this busy time was more than adequate.
