Faro Les Éclaireurs Während der Reise werden wir uns dem emblematischen Leuchtturm Les Éclaireurs nähern, einer der bekanntesten Landschaften des Beagle-Kanals und ein Symbol für das Ende der Welt. Vom Deck des Segelboots Ksar aus genießen Sie einen privilegierten Blick auf diesen historischen Leuchtturm, der auf kleinen Inseln inmitten der südlichen Gewässer Feuerlands erbaut wurde. Die Navigation ermöglicht es Ihnen, einzigartige Fotos und Videos vom Leuchtturm, den Inseln und der für die Region charakteristischen Meeresfauna aufzunehmen. In diesem Gebiet kann man häufig Seelöwen beobachten, die sich auf den Felsen ausruhen, sowie verschiedene Vogelarten aus dem Kanal, wie zum Beispiel Kaiserkormorane, Südmöwen und Sturmvögel. Vogelinsel Während der Reise werden wir die berühmte Vogelinsel besuchen, einen der Orte mit der höchsten Konzentration an Seevögeln im Beagle-Kanal. Vom Deck des Segelboots Ksar aus können Sie verschiedene Arten beobachten und fotografieren, die in den südlichen Gewässern Feuerlands leben, und zwar in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung. Zu den häufigsten Vögeln zählen Kaiserkormorane und Felsenkormorane, die man leicht an ihren Kolonien auf den Inseln erkennt. Es ist außerdem üblich, Südmöwen, Raubmöwen, Sturmvögel, Südamerikanische Seeschwalben und Antarktische Tauben im Kanal kreisen zu sehen. Diese Region wird hauptsächlich von einhaarigen und zweihaarigen Seelöwen bewohnt, Arten, die für den Beagle-Kanal und die patagonischen Küsten charakteristisch sind. Maxi and el Tano, two pros. The whole excursion was something unique. More than an excursion, it is an outing among friends. From the first moment everything is super pleasant; right away they offered us coffee, tea, or mate. They are not talking to you and filling you with information the whole time, but whatever you ask them, both Maxi and el Tano take all the time in the world to answer you and tell you what they know, without rushing. We went to see the sea lions and, with the sailboat Ksar, they literally got right up to the sea lion islet. Since there was no wind and the engine could barely be heard, we were able to enjoy the sea lions up close, a spectacular experience. Something very similar happened on the islet next door with the birds. Afterward we went to a shelter, where we tied up the sailboat. We went down to explore the island and see the shelter, while Maxi kept telling us a lot of things. At the same time, Tano was finishing preparing an appetizer platter that was waiting for us when we returned to the sailboat, nice and warm and ready to keep enjoying. We stayed for a good while eating the appetizer platter while Tano finished dinner. Another genius: super tender and juicy meat, accompanied by vegetables and a salad. And since we already know that my youngest daughter is not a big fan of that type of food (and Maxi had already asked us at the time of booking the excursion, everything to treat us), some empanadas were waiting especially for her. Those kinds of details say a lot. We ate peacefully, stayed chatting, and when we realized it, it was already midnight. We started getting everything ready to go to sleep, with the lullaby of the sailboat, which for me is always part of the magic of sailing. The next day a tremendous breakfast awaited us. We all had breakfast as a family and Maxi joined us, while Tano took us back toward the port. I love sailing, and especially doing it on a sailboat. Until recently a friend had one and I learned a lot from him. But Maxi left me speechless when the time came to dock. He went straight into the dock and, in an instant, with an impressively smooth maneuver, he turned the sailboat sideways and left it perfectly moored without practically using the engine, taking advantage of the boat's momentum. A maneuver worth seeing. The trip had only one problem: I was left wanting more. But not because Maxi or Tano fell short; quite the opposite. They did absolutely everything to ensure the experience exceeded every expectation. You can tell when someone does things because they enjoy them, and they convey that in every moment of the excursion.
Unique sailing experience in Ushuaia, ideal for those seeking something different from mass tourist tours. Maxi and Gustavo "el Tano" are true sailors and navigators, with a wealth of experience at sea. Besides being excellent people, they are very attentive guides always willing to explain everything: from the technical aspects of navigation and the tour to the history and characteristics of the natural environment, as well as sea experiences and stories. The sailboat is very well equipped, comfortable, and has all the necessary safety equipment. We set sail from the port at dawn, enjoying incredible landscapes. We passed by the lighthouse and reached an island in the middle of the Beagle Channel, where we took a beautiful walk with the group. During the tour, they told us many interesting things about the island, its history, and the natural environment. Additionally, the snack was delicious and very plentiful. Don't miss it if you want to return home eager to continue experiencing the sea and sailing at the End of the World, enjoying the authentic sailor spirit. 10/10!
