Sacred Valley Tour mit Mittagessen

Beschreibung

Our day in the Sacred Valley was a perfect blend of culture, history, and scenic beauty. The organization and communication with the provider after booking were seamless, and our pickup by coach was punctual. Despite a short wait to pick up a few more guests, our tour commenced without delays. The first stop was a viewpoint offering breathtaking views over the valley—an ideal spot for photos. In Pisac, we visited the archaeological site and then strolled through the town, where we had the opportunity to purchase unique souvenirs at the local market. Lunch in Urubamba was another highlight. The charming restaurant served us classic Peruvian dishes. The buffet was plentiful and delicious, and although drinks were an extra charge, the value for money was very good. After lunch, our journey took us to the impressive Inca fortress at Ollantaytambo and later to Chinchero, where we witnessed a fascinating demonstration of alpaca textile production. The opportunity to buy handwoven textiles directly from the producers was an authentic experience. Our guide, Julio, was exceptional; he ensured we were always comfortable and shared his extensive knowledge with enthusiasm. The tour lasted about 11 hours, but despite its length, it was not exhausting, thanks to well-timed breaks and interesting stops. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour. It not only provides insights into the rich history and culture of the Sacred Valley but also into the modern life of this remarkable region of Peru.
Not impressed. A lot of driving. Roads are bad. The lunch was in cheap restaurant and very poor taste and quality. I would not recommend to waste a day of your vacation on this one.
Went on the Sacred Valley tour - this company was on time, communicated well and in advance to make sure all questions were answered. Our guide was Antonio - he was terrific! Thought we would go to a mediocre place as lunch was included - but it was a delicious lunch. I couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend this company.
The script we did was actually the opposite of what was described in the timetable starting from Chinchero where we watched a presentation about weaving and ending in Pisac. Our guide was well informed about the history of the locations and contributed to making the tour pleasant. My only consideration is that we spent more than half the time in the car due to the distances, maybe it would have been better to have made shorter routes.
There are many other tours that show double the number of places at half the price. The previous day we had taken the excursion with Grey Line and it was as good and at half the price.

Spectacular!! private tour with great guides!! Very highly recommended.

This tour was awesome!! We had a private car with a driver and our tour guide. We stopped at several archeological sites and hiked. We had a chance to take pictures and shop. Our tour guide took us to a wonderful lunch. We loved having the private tour.

The Sacred Valley tour was great. Our guide, Joel, was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited and took the time to delve into the rich history of the Sacred Valley. We also had a relaxing lunch...and ended the day feeling like we not only learned a lot about the area but also had an enjoyable day with a person who has a passion about The Sacred Valleyff

We had a fantastic day on this trip, from start to finish. We ended up being the only people on the tour, so my husband and I had a private tour! I can imagine it would have been a great day even with a slightly larger group, but the personal element was nice. Our guide, Carlos, was excellent-- he was able to fill us in about everything we wanted to know about, from pre-Incan civilizations to modern agricultural techniques to contemporary politics. The food at lunch was fine, but the view from the restaurant was the real attraction there-- you could see the ruins of Pisaq while enjoying your lunch. We also stopped at a textile/weaving place, where the local women explained how they use natural dyes, etc, and how to tell the difference between alpaca and sheep wool. I really can't say enough good things about this tour. It ended up being one of the highlights of our whole trip.

We did this tour in October of 2016. Was a great tour and ended up being a private tour for the four of us. Our tour guide was great and we had really great conversations with him. It's a long day but you get to cover a lot of ground. Lunch was amazing!
