Unsere East Village-Tour beginnt in einer der New Yorker Donut-Institutionen, dem Donut Pub. Donut Pub gibt es schon seit über 50 Jahren und es gibt einige der besten Donuts in New York City. Wir stellen einige ihrer berühmtesten Geschmacksrichtungen vor und Sie können viele davon probieren. Von hier aus machen wir einen Spaziergang durch die hübschen Viertel, Hochhäuser, Parks und Sehenswürdigkeiten, die East Village prägen und es zu einem der berühmtesten Viertel New Yorks machen. Bei unserem nächsten Stopp probieren wir einige klassische italienische Bomboloni, von denen Sie schwören werden, dass sie direkt aus der alten Heimat kommen. Wenn Sie noch nie Bomboloni gegessen haben, werden Sie sich freuen! Von hier aus werden wir auf dem Weg zu unserem dritten Stopp einige der Musikgeschichte und Ikonen der umliegenden Nachbarschaft hervorheben, darunter CBGB und Bowery Electric. Hier stellen wir ihre charakteristischen Kardamombrötchen vor, die kürzlich auf TikTok für eine virale Sensation sorgten. Wir beginnen unsere Tour hier und stellen die fantastischen Donuts vor, die Sie Ihrer Meinung nach probieren sollten, sowie die Geschichte rund um The Donut Pub.
Wir werden über Astor Place und seine Bedeutung für die Geschichte des Viertels sowie über die umliegenden Gebäude, Theater und Skulpturen in der Gegend sprechen.
Wir gehen durch die Bowery Street und sprechen über ihre Bedeutung für das East Village sowie über die verschiedenen Musiktheater, die früher das Viertel beehrten (CBGBs und andere).
Wir gehen an McSorely's vorbei und sprechen kurz über die Geschichte der Bar und des Ortes. Der älteste Irish Pub der Stadt New York.
Wir werden einige ihrer fantastischen Backwaren probieren und über die Geschichte von La Cabra sprechen.
Ein kleines Juwel im Herzen von East Village. Russo's ist ein Käse- und Pastaladen, der hausgemachten, frischen Mozzarella und andere italienische Spezialitäten serviert. Wir stellen einige Produkte vor, die Sie nach der Tour ausprobieren sollten.
Petit Chou ist eine französisch inspirierte Bäckerei mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf Brandteiggebäck. Brandteig ist der Grundteig für alle Eclairs, Windbeutel und Kränzchen. Bei richtiger Zubereitung ist es leicht, knusprig, hat ein zartes Inneres und eine perfekt hohle Mitte. Dies bietet uns das perfekte Mittel, um Sie mit großzügigen, geschmackvollen Häppchen zu versorgen.

Missy was fantastic! She reached out in advance to let us know that we were the only two people on the tour and once we got started it was truly an experience of our own making! As always it’s a great experience to see the city and also get to try different donuts and pastries of the city. Can’t wait for my next donut tour with the team!

This was a great tour for people interested in music and theatre history. My 14 year old wasn’t as interested in that part:)

This was a great tour and much more than donuts. The history of the East Village and the incredible knowledge of our Guide Rob was impressive. Rob gave us a detailed story of the area that we have always bypassed when in NYC. We have a new appreciation for the village and loved the treats as well!
