Um 9:30 Uhr beginnt unser Rundgang von Tremezzo, einem typischen Dorf mit Blick auf den zentralen Teil des Sees, vor Bellagio und Varenna. Wir wandern von Tremezzo nach Ossuccio über eine alte Verbindungsstraße, den "Greenway des Sees", und entdecken sanfte Wege, versteckte Ecken der lokalen Geschichte und einen bezaubernden Blick auf den See. Wir erreichen Ossuccio und von dort die Insel Comacina mit einem öffentlichen Boot. Die Insel Comacina ist die einzige Insel des Comer Sees, eine der interessantesten archäologischen Stätten in Norditalien für das frühe Mittelalter. Das Gebiet, das wegen seines milden Klimas Zoca de l'Oli genannt wird, ist von mediterraner Vegetation und Olivenbäumen für die Produktion von lokalem Öl bedeckt. Von der Insel Comacina Rückfahrt mit dem öffentlichen Boot nach Ossuccio, von Ossuccio zu Fuß zur Villa Balbianello in Lenno. Die Villa Balbianello befindet sich auf einem bewaldeten Vorgebirge am Comer See. Dieses elegante, romantische Herrenhaus aus dem 18. Jahrhundert und sein herrlicher Garten haben Schriftsteller und Reisende beherbergt, darunter Guido Monzino, den letzten Besitzer.

Isola Comacina ist eine kleine bewaldete Insel im italienischen Comer See. Die Villa del Balbianello ist eine Villa auf der kleinen bewaldeten Halbinsel Dosso d'Avedo im südwestlichen Zweig des Comer Sees. Die Villa del Balbianello ist berühmt für ihre kunstvollen Terrassengärten mit einer berühmten Loggia, die es den Zuschauern ermöglichte, zwei verschiedene Panoramen des Sees von Ost nach West zu bewundern. Der Ort der Villa wurde auch für berühmte Filme genutzt: Star Wars (2002), Casino Royale (2006), His Demise (2016), A month by the Lake (1995) und viele andere.
Von Tremezzo aus wandern wir durch alte Dörfer und sanfte Wege nach Ossuccio auf einer antiken römischen Verbindungsstraße, dem "Greenway of the Lake" (ca. 100 m Höhenunterschied, ca. 8 km). Übrigens bezaubernde Panoramen auf den See, die Natur und die lokale Geschichte.

Great day on Lake Como. This walking tour took us off the beaten path and out of the crowds for a bit, walking through neighborhoods and visiting historic sites on the island, then we had a lovely tour of the gardens of Villa Balbianello. Our wonderful guide Nadia was incredibly knowledgeable about the rich history of Lake Como, and provided lots of fun, practical information that only a local would know.
Nadia really knows her stuff. My husband and I took the private walking tour of Como and Nadia showed us great walking areas and was more than willing to help us plan anything else we needed help with.
Absolutely loved our walk. Our tour guide really knew her stuff. She even gave us ideas of other things we could do during our stay. 10/10 would recommend!
Nadia was an excellent guide! So great to connect with a local who grew up on the lake and is also well travelled! She took us on a nice scenic route away from the crowds giving us some great insight into the area. We walked a lot, learned a lot, ate lunch at a local restaurant and wrapped it all up with an amazing gelato. Highly recommend!

This was a tour of one of the most beautiful places in Lake Como. The gardens were amazing and the green belt magnificent. Alessandro was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and is someone I would highly recommend for their tour. I five him 5÷ stars.
Exceeded our expectation! Our guide Nadia is very experienced and passionate, who shared with us many local treasures. The path we took is completely out of the usual touristy area. Our family of five including five young kids truly enjoyed the beautiful and educational walk with Nadia. Value for money!
