Excellent activity. Starts off with static explanation of why Venice is where it is. Then steady walk around. All well explained. Guide (Stephano) took many questions and answered them all. Quite a pace with a lot to see Prebooked gondola slot Gondola is 30 min trip on grand canal then some small canals. This is much cheaper than a full separate gondola ride. Only downside is sharing the gondola with 2-3 others. Overall good value and a good orientation start. Recommended

I was held up by unforeseen circumstances (our transportation to get into Venice did not show). When I tried to message the tour operator, about this, via messenger, I did not get a message back. The number that was in the booking to call, said: all circuits were busy. Not helpful as a contact number. I had hoped to talk to someone to try to catch up with the tour later or re-book for later, unfortunately that didn’t happen.

The tour itself with the gondola ride was very nice and informative however our guide was a bit rude and aggressive. She was rude to one of my friends that I was traveling with and kept telling her to put her phone down and if she was talking to her son. My friend was taking pictures with her phone not on the phone. This is the 2nd time on this tour for me and the previous guide 2 years ago was fun and amazing but his one might need to retire, she didn’t seem to be enjoying her job unfortunately, which made my friends first time on this tour not pleasant.

Walking tour was very informative and you tour a lot of the back streets and not the main area's. Doesn't go into much detail about St. Mark's if you are looking for that. Gondola ride is 30 mins and was very cool. Each only holds 4 people so plan for that.
