A good 3 hour introduction to Prague and it’s history. We saw all the major landmarks and got a good feeling for the city, with extensive commentary.
Thank you for your supportive words; they mean a lot to us.
Our tour guide was exceptional.she was a fountain of knowledge & evidently proud of her beautiful city. We were left on our own for the last hour with her, it was lovely, like having your own private tour guide. The boat trip was a great way to end the perfect experience
Misha was a knowledgeable guide with lots of observations about local life in Prague! This is a great amuse bouche, you get a great scan of the city and can decide to dig into a sites later if you want. Loved it!
Our guide, Martina, was fantastic. Knowledgeable and fun. My only wish was that the scheduler would have chosen a lunch restaurant closer to the river, as the river cruise was last and we had to double back to get there. But overall highly recommend.
Peter was an amazing tour guide! So knowledgeable and charming. We had a large group and he kept us all together. Our lunch was wonderful and it was good to be able to chat with him more during that time. He took good care to tell us the (complicated) history of the Czech Republic. He was positively a delight.
We had a German tour guide. And we were lucky, there were only three of us. We saw a lot. We first walked through the old part and then we took the tram to the castle at the very top. There we saw several things, including the church, etc. We went on a Wednesday and there was also a parade and immediately the transfer of the guard. Then we walked all the way down and then went to the Jewish neighborhood. After that we saw several more things and then it was time to food. This was of course food from here. Then we had a boat trip and then it was done. This took a total of 6 hours so it was definitely worth it. Tip: wear good shoes!!
First of all, Buma was unbelievable as a guide, absolutely fantastic! That she managed to keep track of all 16 of us (larger than normal tour due to the Christmas markets), in a super-busy environment, was a holiday miracle. I have taken this tour before and this was every bit as good as the 1st time, and I learned new things. Ten of us had such a great time, and enjoyed each other's company so much, we all decided to take the boat ride together after the tour. There was much exchanging of contact information among the group. I cannot more highly recommend, especially if you are coming to Prague for the first time, booking this tour as your day-one itinerary. It will make the rest of your stay in this beautiful and magical city sheer delight. And if you score Buma as your guide, you are in for a rare treat! Many thanks for a truly memorable experience!!
This was an excellent introduction to the city of Prague and its 3 main features, the Castle area, the Main Square with the Astronomical Clock and the Jan Hus statue, as well as the Charles Bridge. The best part of the tour was the energetic, young, funny, very knowledgeable guide, Lubamira (Buma), whose English skills were first rate, and who filled our heads with much information about all the things we saw. While you will not enter any of the palaces or castles or churches in the Prague Castle complex, you will get a taste of the massive area, see the gardens, learn a lot, and have beautiful views over the walls onto the city of Prague. Lubamira took us to a lovely restaurant for lunch, where the Czech dishes were well enjoyed by all 6 couples (2 from the States, 2 from Canada, 2 from Scotland). Do not hesitate to take this tour, even if as a senior you can't envision handling so many hours of walking, as a trolley ride will help you ascend to the Castle area, lunchtime will give you a sitting break, and you will end with a short boat ride on the Vltava River.
Ross was a fantastic guide; knowledgeable and kind. We had a great group dynamic, with the ability to ask questions without disrupting the flow of the tour. Will definitely recommend to anyone I know who’s visiting Prague.
Nice and interesting tour. Lots of information from the guide Ros received. Ros is an experienced guide who has an eye for his group and responds well to the questions and interests.
Dear client, thank you very much for your review. We really appreciate it and we are very happy that you enjoyed the tour. We will show this to the tour guide for sure! Best regards, Hana from Get Prague Guide
