Royal Gorge Halbtägige High Adventure Wildwasser Rafting Tour

We did the Royal Gorge section 1/2 day with JohnT as our guide. Very knowledgeable and just an all around good guide and guy. The sound effects had me grinning for most of the day, I could tell we were all having a fantastic time, including John. Fun river, even though it's been VERY low. Beautiful scenery too. All in all a fantastic experience with the guide and the outfit.

I took my son on his first whitewater rafting experience with River Runners in the Royal Gorge. He absolutely loved it and so did I! the experience was overall great. From check in to the pulling the rafts out of the water - everything went smoothly. Our guide, John, was obviously a seasoned vet! He helped us steer through things with ease. No getting stuck or losing anyone overboard. The experience felt safe through the whole float. Even with the water levels being really low this year (2026) the float was still enjoyable. The 1/2 day session seemed to be just right. Overall it was ~3 hours from start to finish (maybe a bit longer due to some of the other rafts inexperience). It's a little slow on the 2nd half of the float, but John made up for it with providing some history of the Royal Gorge. The fees were inline with what I expected. Actually, they were a little cheaper than some competitors in the area. There were 5 boats total in our group which seemed like an adequate party size; however, it did make for a bit of slowdowns with the other boats getting stuck and having to wait for them for safety reasons. Overall, we had a blast and we'd love to come back sometime to do another section of the float with River Runners!

Awesome White Water Rafting Half Day Adventure at Royal Gorge - River Runners were brilliant - a great intimate Rafting Group, they make you feel special and very safe. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the staff make you feel welcome from first moment you arrive. Much prefer this experience to the large adventure companies in the area look like they are hurding cattle.
