Beschreibung

One of the best Roman palaces open to the public

When Rome, do find time to visit this place. It is one of the best palaces open to the public. Unlike other galleries in the city, there's no need for reservations to enter Galleria Colonna. Walk-ins are warmly accommodated. Just check out the schedule. Ticket price varies depending on the premises that you want to visit. Marvel at its rooms and relax in the gardens. However, the place does get crowded, making it quite hard to take those much desired selfies. The place is very accessible by public transportation. It's located just a stone throw's away from the famous Trevi Fountain. Don't bring your own car. Parking in Rome's historic center is very difficult.

Beautiful museum palace. Don’t buy the tickets with the audio guide!

This is a beautiful palace with lovely gardens, artwork, interesting history, and a formidable gallery. The guides were very informed and excited to share their knowledge. Bonus points for all of the lovely benches and chairs to sit on everywhere! I loved how the family kept the crashed cannonball on the steps! We only stayed an hour and a half due to a busy schedule, and that was adequate, but it would have been nice to linger and enjoy at a more leisurely pace. One thing of note, the pass we purchased included a digital guide to Rome to use on our phones. It was a complete waste of money! Just purchase the entry tickets. A. It would be so much better to send access to this app a few days in advance, not just the evening before, as our visit to the Galleria was at the end of our trip, so we couldn’t use it for other sites visited during our trip. B. The Galleria Colonna wasn’t even part of the digital guide! We ended up purchasing the guide at the museum. C. It’s not very comprehensive. So that was a complete waste of $30 for the two of us

The cost of the presale is too expensive

Sorry to write a bad review but you have to let people know that booking through Tripadvisor we discovered on site that the ticket to enter, made at the ticket office costs almost half of what I spent, plus it was not included the visit to the oldest apartment in the building and we spent another € 10.00 per person. I understand the cost of the presale but not nearly double, and it was never clear until I got the tickets.

Excellent tour guide

I had an outstanding tour on Friday April 17th. Rebecca Harden was our excellent guide. Having been on many tours of stately homes and palaces in England Europe and the US, it was a pleasure to have such a knowledgeable, charming and engaging guide. I would highly recommend this tour, it is definitely worth the ticket cost. I really enjoyed Rebecca’s interesting and witty commentary.

Beautiful art gallery

A beautiful hidden gem in Rome. Such spectacular art work. Not a super busy gallery I think because not a lot of people know about it. We went in low season (March) and it wasn’t over crowded. I would highly recommend coming here to anyone.

Nice museum but buy direct

There is no value add to this company. They buy bulk tickets for entry then resell them at a high markup. We added at the museum additional rooms at a much lower cost. I recommend going but not paying extra.

Don’t buy these tickets - Go directly to the Galleria

Dreadful experience! Never received the actual tickets. Only was sent a voucher to redeem for the actual tickets, which as fine, only there were no clear instructions on where to redeem the actual tickets. I was leading a group of 5 family members - who were looking to me to organize the experience. It was made out that I would get the actual tickets from the ‘redemption point’ first - which was fine - but then no info on where the redemption point was. I incorrectly assumed then no information was an indication that it was at the Galleria entrance, or adjacent, but there was nowhere. I ended up paying 153 Euros for the Viator tickets, then another $75 Euros for the ‘actual’ tickets on the door. The Galleria was excellent and is a hidden gem, so go see it. Just purchase tickets on the door! It was mid July and it was quiet enough.
