Erkunden Sie das ländliche Italien und entdecken Sie die antiken römischen Ruinen auf dieser 4- oder 6-stündigen Tour mit dem antiken Appian Way, Katakomben und römischen Aquädukten. Bewundern Sie mit Ihrem Fortgeschrittener römische Ruinen wie die Aurelianischen Mauern, den Zirkus des Maxentius und das Grab der Caecilia Metella. Tauchen Sie tief in die Katakomben von San Callisto oder San Sebastiano aus dem 2. Jahrhundert ein (nur in der 6-stündigen Version der Tour), um die römischen Begräbnistraditionen kennenzulernen und die persönliche Aufmerksamkeit Ihres Fortgeschrittenen auf dieser auf 10 Personen begrenzten Tour in kleiner Gruppe zu genießen. Bestaunen Sie die imposante Porta di San Sebastiano, ein Tor in den Verteidigungsmauern Roms aus dem 3. Jahrhundert.
Fahren Sie auf der "Regina Viarum", der Königin der Straßen - eine alte Autobahn, die im 4. Jahrhundert v. Chr. erbaut wurde und sich zwischen Rom und Brindisi erstreckt (in ihrer ursprünglichen Form, ca. 538 km lang!)
In der 4-stündigen Tour, eine kurze Pause, um die massive Bestattung unter der Erde zu betrachten, Ruhestätte für eine halbe Million Seelen. Bitte beachten Sie : Mittwochs ist diese Haltestelle nicht in der 4-stündigen Tour enthalten. In der 6-stündigen Tour, eine 45-minütige geführte Besichtigung dieser Katakomben aus dem 2. Jahrhundert, in ihrer ganzen Komplexität und Mysterium! Hinweis : Mittwochs wird die 6-stündige Tour die Katakomben von San Sebastiano (anstelle der von San Callixtus) besuchen.

- Bitte beachten Sie, dass ca. 40% der Strecke dieser Tour in der Stadt stattfindet. Wir fahren sorgfältig ausgewählte Stadtstraßen, aber ein gewisser Verkehr ist unvermeidlich, um den Ancient Appian Way Park mit dem Aquädukte Park zu verbinden. In den restlichen 60% der Strecke (Fahren in den Parks) begegnen wir keinem Verkehr.
- Sie werden eine Fläche von etwa 27 km zurücklegen, von denen 60% im Gelände stattfinden. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad dieser Tour ist mittelschwer (schwierig mit Kindersitz oder Kinderverlängerung am Fahrrad montiert).
- Kinderpolitik : (1) Kleinkinder unter 1 Jahr dürfen aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht teilnehmen. (2) Kleinkinder im Alter von 1 - 4 Jahren, die auf einem Kindersitz (mit einer Tragfähigkeit von bis zu 22 kg) reisen, nehmen kostenlos an der Tour teil. (3) Für Kinder im Alter von 5 - 8 Jahren wird eine Kinderverlängerung (Kinderstromlinien) angeboten. (4) Kinder ab 9 Jahren können autonom auf einem entsprechend großen Fahrrad oder E-Bike fahren.
- Es gelten mindestens 4 Teilnehmer (Gesamtteilnehmerzahl auf Tour). Es besteht die Möglichkeit der Stornierung nach Bestätigung, wenn 3 oder weniger Passagiere auf der Tour sind. In diesem Fall wird Ihnen eine Alternative für Ihre Tour oder volle Rückerstattung angeboten.
- Mittwochs beinhaltet die Route eine Abweichung, sodass die Tour eine halbe Stunde länger dauern kann (4,5 Stunden statt 4 Stunden und 6,5 Stunden statt 6 Stunden). Die Tour kann auch in der Zeit zwischen Mitte Januar und Mitte Februar eine halbe Stunde länger sein.
- Am Ostersonntag (28. März 2027) sind die Katakomben geschlossen (daher entfällt die 6-stündige Tour)
- Diese Tour beinhaltet keine Speisen oder Getränke; die Route bietet jedoch einige Möglichkeiten, etwas zu kaufen (die während einer geeigneten Pause eingenommen werden können).
- Sind die Touren sicher? Die Antwort lautet: Absolut! Die Touren folgen sorgfältig geplanten Routen, die nur eingeschränkten Zugang zum Verkehr haben, und einige haben überhaupt keinen Verkehr, was bedeutet, dass Sie Ihre Fahrt durch die Stadt in völliger Entspannung und Sicherheit genießen können und Sie sich keine Sorgen um den Verkehr machen müssen
- Wir verlangen, dass alle Kunden auf der Tour einen Helm tragen (kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt).

This tour was literally our favorite part of our stop in Rome - we are still talking about it over a week later! It was so nice to get out of the chaotic city and into the countryside for a day and see a different side of Roman history. Our tour guide Merhab (I'm sorry, I probably spelled that wrong) was great, and we only had 6 people total on our tour so we really got to know each other throughout the day! There are lots of stops, so you are never riding for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, and each stop is beautiful. We especially loved riding around the old aqueducts as the sun was beginning to set. The cool catacombs were a nice break, and it was nice to have the breeze on our faces to take the edge off the heat. We will remember this tour for years to come.
This is such a great way to get out of the busy city. I was worried that it would be a little too hot considering the summer weather. But I think it was better than being on the city streets. Our guide, Tommaso, was fabulous. He was full of information and very friendly. And despite riding on some city streets, he made sure we were quite safe.

We did a eBike tour along the Appian Way with TopBike Rental in mid July. Our guide Icaro was fantastic. He was a very safe guide who was enthusiastic with sharing information. The bikes were very comfortable and we had no concerns with safety throughout. Whilst it was hot, we had frequent stops for gelato, nasoni visits. The Appian was very interesting including the amazing catacombs and aquaduct park. It was one of the highlights of our holiday for our 15 year old son. Thanks Icaro!

I'm a fairly confident mountain biker but had never ridden an e-bike before. These things are great for touring - they take all the work out of pedaling and allow you to enjoy the scenery while also catching speed when possible. We did this tour when it was 100' F so the pedal assist was critical. The tour itself was very fun and interesting. Anna was our guide and really made the day fun and interesting. In addition to the history she also gave very helpful information about upcoming hills, turns, and safety as we went. She was also very patient with our thrill-seeking boys. I would recommend the tour to anyone who is reasonably comfortable on a bike, and ask for Anna.

What a great way to see many of the attractions of Rome. The history of the area is immense. Despite the high heat for the time of year, the power-assisted bikes helped keep you moving so it didn't feel as hot. Our guide was excellent, friendly, and very knowledgeable of all the sites we saw. It also helped that we were a relatively small group size. The only way I could see for improving the tour was if they were to add a radio communication to all of the riders so the guide could pass on his wealth of knowledge for all the areas we didn't get a chance to stop at. I highly recommend this tour.
Wonderful views so nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and on a beautiful bike ride
This was really the most fun experience in Rome. You will discover the city in a different way and cycle in the countryside for a large part, so you will not be bothered by the traffic. The groups are small and the guide will guide you safely through the city and enthusiastically tell you about the sights. We did the trip with our children, they could keep up and loved it.

This was our favorite excursion while in Rome. We had a small group with only another couple which made navigating easy and simple. Our guide was excellent and not only made the trip fun but had lots of historical and interesting facts. We chose the 6 hour trip that included a hour long guided tour of the catacombs. This was also cool experience and nice way to get out of the heat.
