Das Forum Romanum, auch bekannt unter seinem lateinischen Namen Forum Romanum, ist ein rechteckiges Forum, das von den Ruinen mehrerer wichtiger antiker Regierungsgebäude im Zentrum der Stadt Rom umgeben ist. Die Bürger der antiken Stadt nannten diesen Raum, der ursprünglich ein Marktplatz war, Forum Magnum oder einfach Forum.
Piazza Venezia ist ein berühmter Platz in Rom. Es liegt am Fuße des Campidoglio, wo sich fünf der wichtigsten Straßen der Hauptstadt treffen: Via dei Fori Imperiali, Via del Corso, die Achse Via C. Battisti – Via IV Novembre – Via Nazionale, die Achse Via del Plebiscito - Corso Vittorio und Via del Teatro di Marcello.

Hadrian (78–138 n. Chr.) war Kaiser von Rom (117–138 n. Chr.) und gilt als der dritte der fünf guten Kaiser, die gerecht regierten (Nerva, Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius und Marcus Aurelius).
