Rock Springs River Tubing & Apopka Wildlife Adventure mit Pickup

It was the most expensive Uber ride we’ve ever experienced. We went through a drive-through a long drive looking at alligators after making a stop beforehandthen we made a stop afterwards once at the coffee shop once a Publix grocery store then we get to the park and it was a long park to get in because there was an issue with their licensing with the park. We finally get into the park which only cost them $10. Apparently we finally get into the park, we had to wait for the tubesto get there. They showed up we get there at noon tubes arrive at 12:30. We get ready to go into the water lightning strikes butthey don’t tell you as there is a 45 minute reset clock every time the lightning strikes and everybody has to be out of the water because our guide left we ended sitting there from 12:30 to 3:30 in the cabana sweltering in the heat and the humidity not able to get into the water not able to do anything for three hours. Ask for a refund 54 bucks out of 200. Don’t waste your money. We understand that they cannot control the weather, but after the first 45 minutes, we could’ve left and gone on and do something with our lives. Instead of the entire day was wasted.

We thought the tour was great the wildlife part where you go see the alligators was nice but once you see one or two it kind of feels like a long stretch and then you have to stop at the Publix store so it felt like it ate up a lot of time. But then once you get to the river part that was really great and we got to put our stuff under the cabana and we walked to the front of the entrance of where you get into the river and we really enjoyed going down and tubing and just getting to relax so it was definitely a 10 out of 10. Mauricio was great our driver and we would absolutely do this adventure again.

What a day we had, our host Adam was excellent, good communication and prompt pick up. Nobody on the bus wanted to stop to pick up a packed lunch so he verified with everyone that they didn't want to stop and everyone agreed as they had their own food anyway, so after the wildlife tour, on which we saw dozens of gators and loads of birds and fish, we went straight to Kelly Park and left our stuff in a private pavilion which Adam manned to look after our things, and had the most magical afternoon on the provided rubber rings floating down the spring. The water is so clear and the scenery just beautiful. We walked the long hiking trail too which we saw 100 squirrels and a large female deer, as well as some interesting paw prints left behind by a big cat I would imagine. All in all in was well worth the fee we paid for the experience and I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks Adam for making this such a memorable part of our vacation.

Went on the first tour with my daughter and her friend during Spring Break. Saw lots of alligators on the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive….. so many wild gators, and it was very peaceful there. Then at the park it was very dry organized, we had picnic tables to sit and relax on… but the tubing was excellent. I am a larger person but managed to get in the float and relax on the lazy river, which was a natural rover coming from the spring. The girls played on the tubes and the watering hole. Adam the tour guide was lots of fun and made the day very enjoyable. I would highly recommend to people visiting for something different and away from the theme parks.
