Riverbend Cave Explorer

Had a blast on the Riverbend max depth tour, our guide Alexis was very knowledgeable and fun. This was my third time doing this tour, I keep bringing our friends and family to explore this cave system and it never gets old! Thank you!

It is one of those must do fun things in your life time , I been here so many times but surprised my girl never been to any Caves adventures in her life , they have so many packagers to choose from age six to sixty ! what are remarkable underground cave to explore , little chilly and wet amazing crystal formations and unique natural fossil ( Do Not Touch ) it is 100% life time experience , our guide very knowledgeable and professional , every one in out group really enjoyed it under $100 it is worth every rock great for kids and family to do on the Island , plus Regional Park Camp Ground just next door ! MUST MUST DO ! PS ***** Lot of crawling so make sure your physically fit , dress light waterproof clothes and bring extra dry clothes along to change after the tour plus there is no washroom inside the Caves ! it is challenge to drive almost 7 miles on loosely gravel road !

Took the Action Pack tour! Was fabulous. Went early morning to avoid kids and it paid off. Only 5 adults in attendance. Our guide was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We opted to rent the coveralls and was glad we did. We already had hiking boots and gloves therefore did not need to rent them. A fabulous experience. I am a fit 61 year old female but I have to say it was still a little challenging at some spots within the cave. Would do again but would chose a different tour!

I loved the Riverbend Cave Explorer tour. It was challenging, mentally and physically. Squeezing through narrow spaces, laying flat on the ground, arms above your head, and face directly on the rock, wiggling your way through, or rappelling 60 ft down in the cave. It was fun. This trip is not for those who are not able to lift themselves or their body weight up over rocks, climbing ladders for 20 ft up, or willingly to straddle rocks with a good drop below. Know your own limitations.

Guide ( young woman I’m ashamed to say I can’t remember her name) was amazing ,knowledgeable and patient. We throughly enjoyed the experience. Having had no previous caving experience we were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed it. Walk through the woods was lovely too. Liz, Sue and Pam.
