Seriously worth every penny, this was a full day of boating, waterfalls, village tours, and tubing! The staff were AMAZING, we felt safe, cared for, had an amazing meal, and like we got to learn and even contribute to a rural village. It was a large group but there were plenty of guides so it felt intimate. Would highly recommend!
Informative at the village, otherwise it wasn't great. It was raining, and quite chilly, and the rain made the ground (dirt) into mud. This made the trip dangerous and should have been cancelled. The trip was only 40 minutes on the tubes. The rest was visiting a local village, very muddy, where I slid on the mud and ended up on my butt. It's a steep climb up and walking through the mud to visit the village and gardens, then a steep incline down the other side, in the mud. Then we went to a waterfall. You have to climb steep rocks up a steep incline, no railing, overlooking running water. It was daunting. If you have a fear of heights or falling, this isn't for you. If you have walking issues, this isn't for you. I had to be led by hand by one of the tour guides. The outdoor lunch was good. I don't think I would do this again thought knowing that there was very little time on the tubes. Even if the weather was good, I don't think I would do this again. I want more time on the river in the tube, not in a boat.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for visiting us. We’re sorry to hear that the day did not fully meet your expectations. When the tour departed, the weather conditions were manageable; however, as we travelled upriver, the rain became much heavier than anticipated. On that day, a fallen log had blocked access to our usual guest drop-off point near the village. For safety reasons, the team had to adjust the route and guests were dropped off further downstream, which required walking through the plantation area to reach the village. We understand this added extra time and reduced the time spent tubing on the river, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility. We’re also sorry to hear about your slip in the muddy conditions. Rain can make natural terrain more challenging, and our guides do their best to assist guests where needed. We’re glad our team was there to support you during the walk. Regarding the waterfall section, there is a formed concrete pathway leading up to the waterfall area, and guest safety remains a priority throughout the experience. However, we recognise that terrain and weather conditions can feel more difficult for some guests, especially in wet conditions or for those less comfortable with uneven ground and inclines. We appreciate your comments about the village visit and lunch and are grateful you joined us despite the weather. Your feedback helps us continue reviewing how we communicate tour expectations and adapt experiences during changing river conditions. Vinaka vakalevu for visiting us, and we wish you all the best on the rest of your travels.
What an adventure ! Jet boating though stunning Fiji, swimming beneath a thundering waterfall, tubing down the river through rapids. Tubing was more physical than I had imagined, it’s not just “sitting and floating”. All ages and abilities on our trip managed it though. On our day the timings were not as expected and it is expensive but in keeping with other Fiji adventures we have done. Tremendous fun and unforgettable scenes.
Fabulous day out. Door to door. Yummy lunch.
We had a fabulous time! The guides were friendly and very helpful getting us down the river safely. The village visit was very informative and an added bonus. Lunch was good!
10/10! Absolutely nothing went wrong. The best trip of my entire holiday in Fiji! Staff wonderful. Boat ride 45min amazing. Village tour insightful. Waterfall swim 30min fantastic. River tubing 60min unforgettable!! Best day tour ever! We were grouped into 6 per team and stuck together with the tour guide and captain of the boat and they helped and guided us everywhere looking out for us the whole time. Best for EVERYONE! Ticked my adventure box, ticked the cultural box, ticked the nature and jungle experience box, and we didn’t even feel scared or motion sick!
This was our favourite day from our holiday and one we will keep close to our hearts. If you love nature and people, this one’s for you. We were in awe travelling through the Navua river, you have the most gorgeous views and it’s complete bliss. We visited Sabata village which was heart warming, you experience how the locals live and get embraced by their beautiful energy. After the village, you get an amazing lunch and hear about Fijian history and then you’re off for rafting! Whilst you’re rafting, the team have you covered with everything you need and they sung to us which was breathtaking. The team make the experience so much better. It’s a big day but worth it, you won’t want to leave!
Was a big day from Nadi but worth it. After being picked up in Nadi, it took about 3 hours to get to the river. The drive was good although long because you get to see lots of the coast. The village visit and lunch were nice. The views are stunning and relaxing.
The scenery here is amazing, the guides are all great and the lunch was delicious. What more could you ask for
Excellent day out. Ben and the other guides were brilliant. Would definitely recommend.
