Ninety minutes of karaoke fun while traveling down Savannah Ruver with light drink refreshments. No food is served on board

I struggled to find the meeting spot and luckily the captain called me to make sure I was coming which helped me find the location and I was able to direct the rest of my party. All the 7 people in my party were from out of town and had a hard time finding the meeting spot and most ended up at the Georgia queen boat instead. One friend drove from out of town to come for the first time. She was the first person to arrive but went to the wrong cruise boat because the Georgia queen was visible from the street. When we realized that is where she was I tried to navigate her to the right location but the captain refused to wait any longer because he had extended a 5 minute grace period. I was on the phone with her and pleaded with him to please not to leave my friend and told me that if I didn’t come on he would leave me too. She and I have been requesting a refund for her ticket and the company is refusing to give it to her. While I understand the policy and the situation they are describing she was actually across the street trying to find us and we were on the phone with her so he knew she was coming but they were calling her a no show. I felt so bad that she was left like that and she was traveling almost 2 hours to come and wasted her time and money. She was the first person to arrive to the area but didn’t know she was in the correct area because there was no sign visible from the street which caused her to keep walking to the boat she saw which was the Georgia queen. My friends and I were Eaten up by mosquitoes One came from Delaware and we didn’t know what to expect in terms of the bugs and she had a severe allergic reaction and had to go to the doctor. Another friend almost fell singing because the driver of the boat did some crazy turn that made her lose her balance.The bartender was rude when serving my friends. The drinks were not accurately described until the final details were sent out so most of my party doesn’t drink wine or beer and they poured them into small medicine cups which was just not cute or enough and so they didn’t care about the drink tokens they received.That was a selling feature for me to do this activity for my birthday. The actual singing part was ok but some of the songs we enjoy were not available and the crew managing were so rude about the rules. It was killing the mood. But my friends were great sports for the sake of my birthday. So were the other passengers who were there for a bridal party and date night. They were the saving grace because we worked together to help each other enjoy the night even though we were having a hard time with the crew leaders. The one young lady on staff who passed us the microphone and other services was really sweet. .Lots of things happened I just was not prepared for that made it a less enjoyable experience for my friends and I. Then being spoken to like they and mocked about being left infuriated me for much of the time. I will try to find a different different type of boat that is enclosed so the bugs don’t get me and doesn’t get water on the floor and use a different company to try the experience again one day. I do not plan to ever attend another boating experience with this company again.
