This all day excursion far exceeded any expectations we had. Our guide Noel made it a very immereive Costa Rican experience that gave us so much insight into Costa Rica itself in addition to so much sightseeing and experiences. We swam under a waterfall, trekked through the rainforest to another gorgeous waterfall viewing, delicious authentic lunch at a mini wildlife viewing tour spot and saw first hand the coffee and Cocoa process. It was amazing how much we were able to experience as Noel kept us moving but not hurried. We were picked up and dropped off at our door and kept completely informed through our entire day. The experience cemented our love of Costa Rica and Costa Ricans and cant wait to journey back for more!

The tour was amazing all the different activities the waterfall, the rainforest chocolate and coffee tasting and the sanctuary were absolutely amazing. We got to see all of the things that I wanted to cross of my list plus many more that just brightened my day. Our guide, Harold taught us a lot about the local culture and flora and fauna! It was lovely and would highly recommend!

The tour was wonderful! Noel was our tour guide who provided a warm and informative presence during the tour. He was very knowledgeable and personable. Each stop along the tour offered unique and varied experiences with the waterfalls being significant grander than the pictures let on. We saw a significant amount of wildlife including two sloths only feet away. The food at our lunch was also very good and filling. Definitely worth the price and was a good whole day of exploration.

It was very nice our guide Marvin was super nice it took pictures of us and give us waters and explained to us a lot of things about Costa Rica that we didn’t know. He stopped for souvenirs after and to an ATM because the one at our hotel didn’t work. We made a lot of stops to go to the bathroom and he was super comprehensive I highly recommend this activity with him.

Wendy handled the booking, with Ernesto as our wonderful tour guide, and Armando our brilliant driver for the day. The trip started out with a beautiful swim at a waterfall. Plenty of changing opportunities, so privacy was no concern. The waterfall was stunning as was the clear, refreshing water. The trek to through the rainforest was next, but not without a stop along the way for a slice of fresh watermelon and a visit to a village shop. The trek was not too difficult, but we did see some older tourists struggling a little. Key is to stop and take in the beautiful surroundings whenever you want, and catch your breath if needed. The waterfall's height, power, sound and beautiful azure waters were worth the effort. You couldn't go down to the waters edge as it is a protected site, but the views from above are breathtaking. Next was lunch, but again with a few stops along the way to see/take pictures of even more wonderful wildlife, with toucans in treetops visible from the roadside, we stopped to observe them and take a few snaps. Lunch was good, with plenty of options to drink, including a well earned beer. The nature walk was at the lunch stop, so directly after lunch we wandered into the forest with our guide and spotted wild birds, frogs, snakes and the wonderful sloths. Both the 3 toed and 2 toed sloths were visible, but the 3 toed sloth was at head height and ready for a camera opportunity. He was very cool! Finally, we toured to the coffee and chocolate experience, were Hermano gave us an experts tour on coffee from the region and its importance to the local economy. We got to make and taste/drink freshly ground coffee, along with creating freshly ground coco powder and having a lovely hot chocolate with added sugar cane to dip and eat. Overall, my wife and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who is visiting the area and wants a bit of an adventure, but also to experience some local culture. We had a fantastic day with Ernesto and Armando, seeing multiple waterfalls, trekking and seeing so much wildlife. Ernesto was very knowledgeable, approachable and kind with his explanations and we felt safe at all times. We saw toucan, sloths, many birds and tasted incredible local coffee and chocolate. It was a long day, with so much packed into it. We would 100% recommend this tour and tour company.

This excursion was a definite highlight of our week in Costa Rica. Our guides, Alejandro and William, were energetic and engaging; they made the day really fun. Our driver, Uriel, was extremely capable as well. We enjoyed every aspect of the tour, particularly the rainforest hike in Tenorio Volcano National Park. Alejandro’s extensive knowledge and keen eye helped us see lots of creatures and plants we would have missed otherwise. He took excellent photos throughout the day and shared them with us later which was an unexpected bonus and allowed us to stay focused on absorbing all the sights and sounds around us rather than spending our time trying to get the perfect shot. It was thrilling to see sloths, frogs, snakes, hummingbirds and more in their natural habitat. The duration of the tour is perfect - we appreciated that we were able to enjoy many different experiences and still be back at our resort in time for a late afternoon swim. Well worth the price and would highly recommend.

The trip was superb loved the variety of activities and learning the history and our guide Maurice and driver Modesto were excellent. It was our best day!
