An amazing trip. Everyone was friendly and enthusiastic to ensure our group enjoyed our time at the Red Sand Dunes! Hashem Al Shareef was a fantastic guide and really made the experience better than we could have expected!
Great fun riding the Quad bikes across red sand dunes and an enjoyable camel ride. The scenery around the area and on the trip there is incredible. Pick up was perfect and exactly on time, Abdullah is a very pleasant guide.

This Red Sand Dunes tour is perfect for those who want to try camel rides and quad bikes, explore ancient remains of a palace, at a highly affordable price AND within 3.5-4 hours. All this is made possible within the vicinity of Riyadh, thanks to the excellent tour managers and kind guides. I would like to re-visit when I get the chance to fly ro Riyadh again.
Abdulla is the best guide we had a blast on the quads and camels !very knowledgeable guide he explained a lot about the desert palace history even made a extra stop for if to buy snacks locally !
Abdullah was very nice and made the experience memorable. The camel ride was a bit short but still a fun experience. The dune riding was a bit longer than the camel ride and was very fun with some very big dunes. The old palace was quite cool, especially the water well and learning about the use of different rooms and air cooling techniques. It is a bit of a drive to the dunes from Riyadh.
Entire experience from picking us up from our home to taking us for the camel and bike rides was very smooth. Our guide Marhan was very polite and accommodating. Only constructive feedback is that adding old palace to this trip may not be worthwhile since there are no characters in particular attached to this palace. Only thing is that it is 3000 old palace. May want to look into adding another sight seeing to this combo. Overall it was a fun experience. Highly recommend it. Thank you.
Loved this Experience so much! We had kids 7, 12, and 15, and adults from 20’s-60. Every one had the best time!! Definitely recommend!! We had a large group staying in 2 separate airbnbs and they picked us up from both locations, drove us there and back. We started with a quick camel ride and photo op. Then over to the 4x4’s. They had single or double riders and even kid sized ones. They provided helmets for the 4x4’s. I was nervous at first, by even my 7 year old was able to master it quickly! Once toy get hang of it, the dune were a blast! We had two guides with us the entire time…and helped anytime anyone got stuck, and made sure no one was left behind. We ended the day with a brief trip at ruins of an ancient palace. It was very neat to walk through and get a glimpse of the past. Highly recommend!!
Our tour guide was amazing : communication was excellent. On time and very informative the entire way. Ride was pleasant and enjoyable. Camels were a lot of fun : although I do wish we had a bit more time on them. They take fantastic photos . The ATV’s were so much fun. Highly recommend that if you know how to shift with a clutch that you upgrade to the 400cc machine : more power and faster. The normal 250cc is still loads of fun. They even have 150cc machines . Time flew by, scenery was breathtaking. Our guide had cold waters for us when finished. On the way home he stopped off at the very first compound in Riyadh. Took his time to show us around and give us a great history lesson. His English is exceptional. All in all : great tour and worth every penny
Our guide was amazing. Picked us up on time and very comfortable SUV. Speaks English extremely well. Laid out the time frame for arrival and what to expect . Was very knowledgeable when we asked questions. Arrived safe and on time. The camel rides were fun ( would have enjoyed a few more minutes). The quads were so much fun. If you’ve been on ATV’s before and or know how shift via clutch then I highly recommend the 400cc machine . The normal 250 cc machines still make it a fun and exciting adventure. Stopping off with our guide on the way back to the very first palace was inspiring. He took his time and really gave us an exciting and well informed history lessons . Provided us with cold bottles of water on our return trip home ! Highly recommend
