The palace is well kept visiblebly stunning. The admission expensive. Some of the staff though are very rude and unwelcoming.
Good place to visit but limited in what to see. Only took 45 mins to get around. Nice bit of history
Entry was smooth and easy. I liked the audio very much. The audio gave information for all important locations in the city. That was a real bonus. I did not expect this..
Beautiful palace , situated in the amazing old town… , quiet tranquil … a must.. a good insight into the history of Rhodesxx well worth it
Where in your mobile phone you can open 2 purchased tickets at the entrance of the museum I had difficulties to open the app.
Unfortunately, the tour was not as interesting as described by most. Entrance was already very expensive at the 20 euros per adult, for what you got to see. The rooms above are unfortunately not described and it is very monotonous.
This attraction gets varying reviews depending, I think, on the reviewers feeling of its value for money. I think it was value for money and have rated it good. There is an exhibition of ancient artefacts on the ground floor which is moderately interesting. You then go up a floor into the grand apartments. The main attraction here are the mosaics. They are very well preserved and most are interesting. There are a lot of Italian statues of angels and ecclesiastical furniture but little else. Finally there is a video presentation about the knights of the hospatelier order, or the Knights of St John, which I thought was very good. So worth the €20 and I would give yourself an hour and a half to two hours. There is a cafe inside the castle too so you can break up your visit with a coffee and a snack if you want.

Really a very great experience. Now we have a weakness for ancient cultures, historical events, local history, legends and much more. We visited the place in the area of 5 hours and we could well have spent longer time. Are you for history and great times this is recommended - but remember to devote good time..

Det lyder som om, I har en ægte passion for historie og kultur, og det gør et sted som dette kun endnu mere fascinerende. Fem timer er imponerende – og vi forstår godt, at I kunne have brugt endnu længere tid. Der er så meget at fordybe sig i, både på selve området og i museet. Vi er helt enige: for dem, der interesserer sig for oldtidens storhed og historiske fortællinger, er dette et sted, man ikke må gå glip af. Og ja, det er en rigtig god idé at afsætte god tid, så man kan opleve det hele i ro og mag. Tak fordi I delte jeres oplevelse – og forhåbentlig på gensyn.
Beautiful and fantastic historical site with a modern twist with all the gift shops,tasty restaurants etc.The palace ticket price are the same for all adults but if you are English you have to pay for your child.EU kids are free.Also the litter in parts does let the beauty down and all the cigarette buts all over the floor is a big let down.
