Auf einer Höhe von über 5.200 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel befindet sich ein spektakulärer Berg, der im Laufe von Millionen von Jahren einen natürlichen Regenbogen auf der Erde geformt hat und der natürlichen Landschaft eine rote Farbe verleiht.

Wir durchqueren kleine Städte und Gemeinden, bis wir Pitumarca erreichen, eine kurze Frühstückspause, 40 Minuten entfernt, und dann fahren wir nach Hanchipacha, um die Wanderung zum fabelhaften Berg der 7 Farben (Vinicunca) zu beginnen, wo wir eine Stunde lang Fotos und Ausblicke genießen werden die Farben der Erde.

This was an AWESOME experience! When you reach the top of the mountain the view is spectacular. There was a lot of apprehension for us with this excursion because of the elevation of almost 17,000 feet above sea level and the potential for altitude sickness. It would have been helpful for us to know ahead of time that a motorcycle ride or a horseback ride is available, for extra money, to go about 200 meters from the top. Walking the 200 meters was much more doable. The key is to make sure you acclimate slowly before you go and take it as slowly as you need going up to the mountain. It is definitely worth the trek!
It seemed impossible but we made it!! It was an incredible experience and our guide was present, helpful and very empathetic. Even the food for breakfast and lunch was varied and good.
It is super fun with delicious lunch and breakfast! Car ride felt safe and comfy. It’s long day but worth it.

We loved this day! Everything was super well organized, the taxi in the morning picked us up on time and the guides helped us a lot in climbing the mountain.
