Red Valley und Rainbow Mountain ATV Abenteuer ab Cuzco

If I could give 0 stars I would. This tour was booked by a friend for 2 people. He gave the pick up locations which were confirmed in a message including times for pick up at each. Passport details were shared for registration. I waited at my accommodation as planned at 4am (for a 4:10-4:15 pick up). No one came. They collected my friend & he spoke to them about when they were picking me up. They reaffirmed the booking etc. The guide on the bus spoke with his boss & all of a sudden they had no recollection of a second person despite a) having all the messages confirming all of the details b) having spoken with my friend about this on the bus c) the booking confirmation stating 2 people and having paid for 2 people. On trying to speak with the company about when they were picking me up they said they weren’t. My receptionist spoke to them and they flat out lied and said my friend hadn’t said a word on the bus and that there was no booking. They tried to blame us for this shambles. I should also point out my friend said the bus was full so they had also oversubscribed and there was no room for me anyway. This company lie, they can’t organise a piss yo in a brewery and I wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them. If they had accepted they made a mistake and then tried to rectify it maybe I’d be more forgiving but to lie repeatedly is a joke. I was later asked if I wanted to join the next tour. I declined because a) i wouldn’t be with my friend b) I don’t wish to give this company £1 of my money c) due to the lying I don’t trust them at all with my safety or anything else. An absolute shambles and I wouldn’t recommend them at all. Book with anyone else. They will no doubt respond to this with some nonsense but to be clear we had a booking, it was for 2 people, paid for 2 people, they confirmed pick up locations and times for each, took our passport details & then didn’t fulfil the booking. They lied about it & tried to blame us. Take your money elsewhere.

The experience is incredible. QORI INKA TRAVEL fulfilled what was scheduled. Very professional. The stops were of high quality for resting and enjoying good food. During the visit to the red valley and the 7-color mountain, the experience was spectacular. The guide José was a great support in the ascent to the mountain, always ensuring that everyone could accomplish the mission. 100% satisfied with the experience.

Finding trustworthy tour companies in Peru can feel overwhelming, but taking a chance on World Explorer Peru was one of the best decisions of our trip. They coordinated two of our most memorable tours, a private Sacred Valley tour and an ATV ride through Red Valley with the trek to Rainbow Mountain. We had the incredible luck of having Rudy as our guide both days. Rudy is funny, kind, and just an all around wonderful human. We loved him so much after day one that we begged to have him back for day two and Adolfo made it happen for us, which we are so grateful for. The Sacred Valley tour was beautifully paced and so rich in history and culture. Rudy had us laughing the whole time, including a running inside joke about a frog he spotted on top of the mountain that we were convinced he was making up. The included lunch was delicious and the whole day felt effortless. The ATV adventure through Red Valley was a completely different kind of thrill. I wasn’t comfortable riding on my own, and without hesitation Rudy let me ride as his passenger, never once making me feel like a burden. The entire time he kept a watchful eye on everyone in our group, always checking back to make sure we were safe. The trek to Rainbow Mountain was genuinely challenging at that elevation, but Rudy was endlessly patient with our breaks and our pace. When we finally reached the top, he quietly went and stood in the long line so we could catch our breath just so we could get that iconic photo. Those little details are why we insisted on having Rudy as our guide for two days. We left feeling like we’d made a lifelong friend rather than just hired a tour guide. World Explorer Peru’s communication was seamless and every detail was taken care of. If you’re heading to Peru, book with them. You will not regret it.

Brilliant tour with Adolfo, everything was brilliant and straightforward from start to finish. Everything organised to the smallest detail and answered any questions or queries we had. Great fun to be on and got the best out of the group. Would fully recommend

An excellent experience. In addition to saving time and energy to reach the Rainbow Mountain thanks to the ATV tour, our guide José was always very attentive to us. The hike from the viewpoint of the Red Valley to the mountain can be intense for those who are not accustomed to the altitude and lack of oxygen, making the journey more tiring than usual. However, upon reaching the summit, the view makes all the effort completely worthwhile. As a recommendation, if possible, bring an oxygen bottle for both the ascent and descent, as the return may seem smoother, but it can also be exhausting.

Jose was the best guide ever! I booked the tour for my friend and I even though we were staying in separate accommodations. Jose was accommodating to pick us up in separate locations! The tour group was a total of only 9 people. Jose provided instructions in both Spanish and English so the whole group could understand and answered any concerns I had. He specifically explained that you need 30 soles in cash as an entrance fee for Rainbow mtn and Red Valley. The ATVing was around 1 hr 40 mins and included many photos and videos. The guide let you practice ATVing for 10 minutes before going up Red Valley. After Red Valley, we hiked about 40 minutes to get to the top of Rainbow Mountain. The hike was personally difficult for me since it was steep at some points and the altitude level was so high but Jose was encouraging the whole way, cheering me on every step!! The view at the end was worth the long journey. There’s an option to take a horse either one way (80 soles) or both ways (120 soles) if you know you might struggle to hike (I recommend). I highly recommend this tour with Jose. He is one of the most personable and kindest people I know! Thank you Jose!! 🦙🦙

Overall great experience. Our guide, José, was fun and energetic. He made the experience so enjoyable and kept us all in good spirits even when the hike was hard. The drive was also broken up perfectly with breakfast and lunch 1/2 through on the way there and back. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to see rainbow mountain without the full hike.

Great experience José was the guide and he went over and beyond for my group. He was prepared for every situation and even stayed with a member of our party not leaving them behind. He also took photos and videos which was great! The lunch and breakfast was included and that was delicious as well! Thank you.

The tour is very well organized. Quinceno and Humberto are very knowledgeable, fun and patient. High altitude is no joke. I’m so glad we had gone with ATVs. Riding these was super fun
