Christian was amazing & so knowledgeable on the local Oaxacan customs and culture. The markets and street food really made the tour unique. I encourage everyone in Oaxaca to look Christian up & do one of his tours.

Our guide Christian was wonderful. He was friendly and approachable, which made the experience even more fun. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and the food. All the food was delicious and we were stuffed after the tour.

We loved our tour with Betsy! She is so knowledgeable and so fun. She chose excellent spots to take us, and there is a good amount of walking involved. The pacing between markets is good—we didn’t walk away feeling disgustingly full like we have with many other food tours. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful tour today with Betsy - the most knowledgeable, passionate and fun guide you could ask for. Betsy grew up in the markets as a kid so she knows them like the back of her hand. And this tour was the perfect balance of food, drink and culinary history - so you left feeling like you had a great understanding of the Oaxaca food scene and got to taste some incredible food along the way without being overwhelmed with too much information or falling into a food coma by the end of it. The whole vibe is lively, spontaneous, warm and friendly. If I had more time in the city, I'd be booking another tour for sure. Highly recommended.

Christian was an excellent guide for myself and my parents. It was our first time in Oaxaca and gave us such a good introduction to the city and its food culture. We got to see 3 very different markets plus a chocolate tasting at the end, and it was very well-paced, with several chances to sit at each stop. My advice to other travelers, come hungry because the food just keeps coming! Thanks for such a nice day!
