Rappel Maui Wasserfälle und Rainforest Cliffs

What an unforgettable experience in Maui! Water rappelling was the perfect mix of adventure and nature. A huge shoutout to our guides, Shauna and Mikaela, who were absolutely amazing, super funny, and made sure we always felt safe and comfortable. The excursion is a perfect balance—physically active but not exhausting, and thrilling without being terrifying. It gives you just enough of an adrenaline rush to put you fully in the moment. Plus, finishing the rappel right by those amazing waterfall pools meant we got to jump in for a swim right after! Truly an immersive experience in nature. Highly recommended!

Shauna and Alba were incredible hosts through the rainforest and great rappelling teachers! We went with my husband, my twin 18 year old boys and me. It was a great adventure and something we’d never done before. Highly recommend!!

This was hands-down one of the best experiences of our trip! We rappelled into a ravine and then down two waterfalls in the rainforest along the Road to Hana. It was such a cool and unique way to experience Maui. It was the perfect combination of adventure and challenge while still feeling safe the entire time. Everyone in our family had a blast! Our guides, Mikaela and Shauna, were awesome—full of energy, incredibly knowledgeable and just fun to spend the morning with. They made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident while still keeping it exciting. We also loved the eco-tour through the rainforest at the end. It was an unexpected bonus and really fun and interesting. Definitely time and money well spent and one of the highlights of our Maui trip. Highly recommend!

Most adrenaline rush I have ever had!!! Such a unique experience to complete on Maui. Alba and Deacon was awesome guides and made me feel so comfortable and confident competing rappelling near waterfall!

My family of four went rappelling with Rappel Maui today, and it was great. There were three rappel’s, two of them over waterfalls and one with significant height. We previously went rappelling in Costa Rica but this was more challenging as the guides gave us more control over our descent and coached us along the way… but we’re still 100% committed to our safety. It was fun for all including my youngest son who is twelve (although he is the adventurous type). We also got to swim and hike along the way, which filled out the experience. Our guides, Alba and Deacon, were excellent. Would highly recommend this as an adventure excursion when in Maui.

Oh my gosh. It's been a while since I've written a TripAdvisor review but this one feels necessary. We went as a family of 4 (two adults, kids ages 11 and 13), after deciding this would be more unique than another zipline excursion. And it really was. Just seeing these big flowing waterfalls would have been cool, but wow, the experience of rapelling down them was top notch. I was a little scared but the guides made us feel safe and coached technique to help. Swimming in the pools at the bottom of the waterfalls was exhilerating. The guides (Shauna and Alba) were also wonderful at pointing out plant life, letting us taste things as we hiked out, and generally just being awesome women. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour if you've got an adventurous crew and are looking for something to do beyond the snorkeling and ziplining and horseback riding that you can do on so many other islands!

My wife and I both did the repel Maui and we had a great time. Our instructors Albat and Deacon were amazing. They were great teachers and made it so much fun and made sure we were safe the entire time and give us the most out of the Experience.

This was the highlight of our trip to Maui! We have two kids, 13 & 15, and they absolutely loved it as well! It was a bit scary at first, but Elena and Deacon did a thorough job of explaining everything from start to finish. It was fun going down the waterfalls and refreshing jumping into the water at the base. If you are traveling to Maui (or traveling the road to Hana) I highly recommend this!!

If you’re looking for a real adventure, this is it! This is not a casual sightseeing excursion—it’s a legitimate rappelling experience. You complete three rappels total, including two down waterfalls. I do wish they had done a better job preparing us at the beginning for what to expect. At the end of both waterfall rappels, you actually let go of the rope and drop into the water below. I’m a pretty adventurous person, and even I was a little nervous! One disappointment was that there wasn’t a photographer on our tour day. We were really looking forward to having professional photos of such a unique experience. Also, be prepared for the hike back up after the rappels. It’s definitely a workout, and a few people in our group needed to stop and catch their breath several times. Our guides were nice and kept everyone safe, but I think a more thorough orientation would have made the experience even better. One important tip: download your entry pass before arriving at the botanical gardens. There is virtually no cell service or internet, and they almost charged us an additional $20 per person because we couldn’t pull up our reservation. Overall, it was an adventure and something I’m glad I did. Just come prepared, know what you’re signing up for, and you’ll have an amazing experience!

Everyone there was very nice. The place we did the repelling (Garden of Eden) was beautiful and the food truck they had there had delicious food. Would do again!
