Der Regenbogen-Berg von Peru, alias Winicunca. Auf dieser Wanderung sehen Sie malerische Dörfer, schöne Häuser im Adobe Stil, Herden von Lamas und Alpakas und Sie haben einen herrlichen Blick auf den Ausangate Berg (6.385 m), den höchsten Berg der Region Cusco.

Reiseverlauf
Wir werden unser Frühstück in einem Restaurant einnehmen und hier beginnt die Wanderung. An einem plätschernden Gebirgsbach und Alpakaherden entlang geht es bergauf ins nächste Tal. Wenn das Wetter es zulässt, können Sie hier einen ersten Blick auf unser Ziel werfen. Der Aufstieg zum Berg dauert von hier aus je nach Fitnessniveau etwa 2 Stunden. Oben angekommen machen wir eine wohlverdiente Pause und genießen ein paar Snacks. Dies ist auch Ihre Gelegenheit, durchzuatmen und die atemberaubende Aussicht zu genießen. Hier werden Sie froh sein, dass Sie Ihre Kamera mitgebracht haben! Danach machen wir uns auf den Weg zurück zum Ausgangspunkt (ca. 2 Stunden). Dieser Teil der Wanderung wird Ihnen viel leichter fallen. Zurück in der Berggemeinde essen Sie in unserem Restaurant in Anchipata zu Mittag und nehmen sich etwas mehr Zeit zum Entspannen. Der Fahrer und unser Privatfahrzeug warten darauf, Sie zurück nach Cusco zu bringen (3 Stunden), wo Sie gegen 17:00 Uhr an der Plaza Regocijo abgesetzt werden

In einigen Hotels sind die Straßen nicht groß genug, um zu parken. Wenn dies bei Ihrem Hotel der Fall ist, teilen Sie uns dies mit, damit wir den Abholpunkt ändern können. Sie werden um 4:30 Uhr abgeholt und unternehmen eine dreistündige Fahrt mit einem Privatwagen oder Minibus zum Ausgangspunkt des Weges in Anchipata

I cannot recommend KPC highly enough! I arrived in Urubamba hoping to visit Rainbow Mountain, but had not booked a tour in advance. Franklin and his team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and even arranged door-to-door transit from my hotel, despite the fact that I was staying outside Cusco. I was anxious about the altitude and being prepared for weather, but the company made sure everyone in our group was outfitted with the proper attire and they were ready to respond in case of altitude sickness. I felt like I was in such good hands. Highly recommend!
The tour was good, not great. Our tour guide was super nice. I am sorry I don't recall her name, but we were called the "Champions." We opted for the horse/donkey/mule ride. It would have been a nice ride, but the guy kept running, and so the horse/donkey/mule kept running. I ended up falling in the mud (it was funny though lol) because the saddle was loose. I don't know why he was mad. LOL Two of my friends was sick from the bumpy and windy road and our tour guide took good care of them! PLEASE DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF HIGH ALTITUDE SICKNEED, even if you are an avid hiker. I highly recommend this tour.
