Unsere Tour beginnt mit der Abholung von Cusco Hotels im historischen Zentrum, zwischen 3 : 00 Uhr und 3 : 30 Uhr.
Weiter geht es für 1 Stunde und 45 Minuten zu unserem nächsten Ziel, Cusipata, wo das Frühstück in der Tour inbegriffen ist. Vegetarische Option verfügbar.
Wir werden 30 bis 50 Minuten vom Quad-Parkplatz zum Berg laufen und dann die gleiche Zeit zurück zu den Quads.
Unsere Quadtour beginnt in der Gemeinde Japurá, wo Ihnen unser Fachkundiger Tourleiter alle notwendigen Anweisungen gibt. Von diesem Punkt aus sind die Landschaften einzigartig, umgeben von wunderschönen Bergen und schneebedeckten Gipfeln, und Sie haben die Möglichkeit, Lamas und Alpakas in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum zu sehen, der von Einheimischen gepflegt wird. Nachdem wir mehr als 1 Stunde mit unseren Quads gefahren sind, erreichen wir schließlich den Berg der 7 Farben, wo wir dieses großartige Werk der Natur bewundern, seine Majestät genießen und die besten Fotos machen können. Unser Fortgeschrittener erklärt Ihnen genau, was der Regenbogenberg ist, und nach dem Besuch dieses erstaunlichen Ortes kehren wir zum Ausgangspunkt zurück, nehmen den Minivan zurück, essen zu Mittag und kehren dann in die Stadt Cusco zurück.
Wir werden die Möglichkeit haben, diesen Berg, der als höchster Berg der Gegend gilt, auf einer Höhe von über 6.300 Metern zu sehen.
Ankunftszeit in Cusco : ca. 17:30 Uhr an der Plaza Regocijo.

Amazing experience. Our guide, Grimaldo, was friendly, patient and informative. The views were out of this world.
Edgar and his crew did a fantastic job. The ATV ride was very enjoyable. We had a sunny day making the views of the mountain amazing. The morning buffet was just okay and the hall was cold do to the early time. The lunch was excellent. The weather was sunny and hot. It’s a long day. 2 hours or less each leg.
The rainbow mountain tour was not what we expected. Ysmael and was our tour guide, he was very friendly which we appreciated however his partners were not. Ysmael also asked us to pay an additional $90 to do the hike which was supposed to be included. There was supposed to be oxygen included to help with the elevation and there was none. It rained the entire tour and it was very cold, the driver and the other tour guide continued to roll down their windows which was very inconsiderate being that we were all wet and cold. We took the ATV’s to a certain point then started the hike. The views up to the hiking point were amazing. Once the hike began I was unable to complete it due to the elevation however the other participants that were able to complained that once they reached the top of rainbow mountain, which is an hour + hike all they were able to see was snow and the red clay. I do not recommend this tour.
The atv i was given to ride barely ran. It shuddered all the way and could not keep up with the group. The guide stated there was noting he could do. He offered his atv but stated there was no back breaks.
ATVs were very fun, guides were awesome, amazing views after the hike to the top. Altitude is no joke, don’t stay at the top too long, but would absolutely recommend. Incredible experience.

The tour is fun and the rainbow mountains are worth the hype, but I do have a few comments for one the entrance fee listed on the trip is wrong we were told night before 25 soles and then required to pay 45 for entrance not sure why the adjustment or if we got ripped off. The restaurant is okay at best and be careful what you eat it’s a buffet and if you show up last like us things will have been sitting out for a long time. Also bring plenty of water there won’t be a chance to fill up only buy overpriced bottles. None of that is controlled by the tour operator but I feel it’s important to let people know.
It is a great experience. Our guide was helpful. The ATV's are easy to ride and the views whilst riding are amazing. The tour takes you to the foot of Rainbow Mountain lookout. You will still need to hike to the top to get a view. Instead of hiking you can pay for a short motorcycle or horse ride to the top.
