Die Tour beginnt in Ragusa Ibla mit dem Besuch der barocken Altstadt. Ragusa ibla kann als ein echtes Freiluftmuseum betrachtet werden, in dem die Opulenz des Iblean-Barock in Synergie mit der Natur des iblei-Gebirges besteht. Hier können Sie die wundervolle Kathedrale Saint George auf der Piazza Duomo, das "Portale di San Giorgio", einen wunderschönen Bogen im katalanischen Gotikstil aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, den schönen "Giardino Ibleo" und viele barocke Gebäude bewundern.
Wir fahren weiter nach Modica, dessen historisches Zentrum (Modica bassa) ebenfalls im Barockstil ist. Die beiden Kathedralen San Giorgio, die das Dorf von der Spitze des Hügels dominieren, und San Pietro, die sich entlang der Hauptstraße befinden, sind beide außergewöhnliche Beispiele des sizilianischen Barocks. Wir machen einen Abstecher in den alten Schokoladenladen Bonajuto, um die Erklärung für den Prozess der Herstellung der typischen lokalen Schokolade zu erleichtern, die nach einem alten Rezept der Azteken hergestellt wurde, die die Spanier während ihrer Dominanz nach Sizilien gebracht haben. Am Ende besuchen wir das faszinierende Dorf Scicli, in dem der barocke Baustil wieder im Vordergrund steht. Wir durchqueren die faszinierende Landschaft, die reich an steilen Kalkwänden, Johannisbrotbäumen, niedrigen Mauern, kleinen Kirchen und Steinbrüchen ist, und wir kommen zu dem Anblick eines im Herzen Siziliens so genannten Edelsteins. Wir beginnen die Stadtrundfahrt mit dem Archäologischen Park von Chiafura, in dem Sie die Höhlen sehen können, die in den Kalksteinfelsen gegraben wurden, wo viele Familien bis in die Mitte des letzten Jahrhunderts lebten. Von der Kirche San Bartolomeo aus gehen wir durch die Innenstadt, die reich an Palästen im Barockstil und an Kirchen ist, durch die Scicli zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe wurde.

My friend and I really appreciated our Ragusa, Modica & Scicli tour with Riccardo of Taxi Catania NCC . He was professional, friendly and made sure we had the time and space to explore these Sicilian towns on our full-day adventure! I highly recommend him!
Ricardo was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and easy-going. I highly recommend this tour. Modica chocolate tour needs to be scheduled ahead of time, so something to look into before going.
Roberto was incredible. So informative, flexible, and considerate. We saw so much. He stopped at numerous wonderful overlooks for photos. His knowledge of the history, geography, and customs of the area gave us insight of the area. He gave us choices of what to see and how to see them in each locale. Martino was great. We covered a lot of ground that day. He took us to a number of Fabulous places to admire great views of the area. He was happy to take pictures of us at special places which we appreciate. He was friendly informative it was a pleasure to spend the day with him.

I booked this tour and I asked to my friend who lives in Taormina to come with me . The driver was totally ignored me whole the time and only chatting with my friend in Italian. I was totally invisible to him . I know he was a just driver but I really did not feel welcome by this driver just chatting with my friend in Italian . I was the one who is paying whole price and my friend supporsed to be my guide . At the end ,he even asked my friend if she enjoyed this tour but not to me . I appreciate him being flexible to change the route a bit . However not appropriate for treated me as invisible whole time . I am very generous tipper when it comes to tipping since I worked most of my life as customer service getting tip from my customer .so I understand how tip helps . Too bad I’ve did not get 25percent tip I prepared for him .

Anyway, the driver talked to your friend because She was Speaking italian, so easier for him to keep conversation, and he did not know Who booked and Who was invited as a friend; for the driver both of you were clients.

We spent the day with Martino of Taxi Catania. He met us promptly at the agreed upon location. He was very flexible allowing us to to totally change our itinerary to suit our needs. He was very friendly and anxious to make sure we enjoyed our day. We especially enjoyed walking , shopping and eating in Catania. I would recommend him without reservation
Our guide was a hour late because he went or was sent to the wrong port. Verified that I put the correct port on my reservation. We had a o completely miss one of the cities. While I was very happy with our time in Modica and Ragusa, would have like to make it to Sicili. Our driver spent a fair amount of time on the phone as well. The vehicle was nice and clean. Our driver was nice and courteous. When I reached out to the tour provider, the response was “well these things happen”. Not really the response I was expecting. I paid for a tour to 3 cities and got 2.
