Rafting Klasse II & III + Mittagessen & Kulturtour auf dem Bauernhof

A great day with a great team from Wave! Special mention for our rafting guide Argenis, driver Jonny and guide Esteban! Really recommend this tour - really friendly - everything was excellent and really well organised!

The whole rafting experience was so incredibly fun! Our guide Carlos was amazing and made sure we had the best (and safest) time. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions on the drive over and throughout the rafting. This was our first time ever rafting and we would 1000% do it again, especially with this company. The lunch afterwards was also delicious and the whole day just ran very smoothly. We paid for the photos at the end and they were definitely worth it.

We had a wonderful time! The Class II and III rapids were exciting without being terrifying. Our guide for the day, Jairo, was professional, kind, and fun. He gave us a lot of information and ensured we were having a good time. Felix was an excellent driver and got us everywhere safely and efficiently. Once on the river, our river guide, Alonso, was amazing. We had both experienced and inexperienced rafters in our boat and Alonso was great with both. He kept us safe while having an amazing adventure. After the rafting, we went for a delicious lunch and learned about coffee and sugar cane. It was a lovely way to complete the tour. Highly recommend.

So much fun. The guides were great making sure we were safe and had a blast. Lunch was the best meal I had in La Fortuna. Encouraged to walk La fortuna upon our return and we enjoyed chocolate and a gelato. Wonderful way to spend the day.

Great experience! Jairo was very informative of the expectations of the tour during the bus ride, and his photos of the experience came out incredible! Our raft guide was Esteban and he did a wonderful job navigating a group of English and Spanish speaking people during stressful moments. We had a scary experience in the raft where it got wedged under a rock, but navigated everyone to safety and we all enjoyed the rest of the experience! I have white water rafted before in other countries and this experience is very equivalent and fair-priced. Be warned if you don’t like long bus rides, there is a fairly long bus ride to and from the experience. However, they do provide drinks after the experience and an opportunity to change out of your wet swimsuits, which was awesome!

Absolutely incredible! This was a pure adrenaline rush, not for the faint hearted! It was fabulous, terrifying and spectacular fun all at the same time. Carlos, our guide was incredibly talented and an expert at keeping us upright!! If you are after something to remember, do this!!

My family of 4 had an absolutely wonderful time. Pick up and drop off was seamless. Carlos was a great raft guide and put us at ease . Our 9 year old especially liked the “bull riding”. We couldn’t stop laughing. We rafted about 4.5 miles. About half way through , we stopped for a refreshing snack of watermelons and pineapples . Afterwards , we had a typical Costa Rican lunch at a sugar cane farm . 2 thumbs up. Very glad we did this.

As it was our first time rafting (with two kids, aged 11 and 13) we weren't sure what to expect. Any nerves immediately evaporated when we met Enzo and his team who were really friendly and put us all at ease. Our raft guide was Thomas and he was brilliant with the kids and made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. Plenty of splashes and fun rapids to go down which meant my slightly nervous daughter was very quickly grinning and laughing. Thomas ensured we all had fun, worked together as a team and kept us safe. There were opportunities to get out the boat and have a swim in the river during the tour (water was lovely and warm). Scenery was spectacular and we even got to see a sloth swimming in the river! This was one of our favourite activities on our trip to Costa Rica and we will definitely be looking for more opportunities to raft in the future now!

We had SO much fun on this activity. All the guides were so friendly and fun, felt like a big family. Very well run and organized. Our guide was Carlos. He was very personable and informative. I loved being able to jump out of the boat and swim in calm areas. Felt safe and had fun the entire time. Everyone in our family loved it. The meal afterwards was seriously amazing. One of the best meals we had our entire trip. The pictures were very well priced and we got them that day.
