Die alte Medina mit ihren verschiedenen Straßenmärkten (Souqs) ist ein faszinierender Ort zum Erkunden. Die Seitenstraße, die zur Kasbah führt (Rue des Consuls), ist voller Geschichte und traditioneller Geschäfte. Die Hauptmarktstraßen sind Rue Souika und Avenue Mohammed V.
Die Kasbah der Oudaias ist eine malerische mittelalterliche Zitadelle der Almohadan-Festung, immer noch ein Wohngebiet, mit beeindruckendem Meerblick von der Akropolis und erfrischenden andalusischen Gärten auf ihrer Basis. Der Eingang zu den andalusischen Gärten erfolgt durch die kleinere Tür, die Stufen vom Haupttor hinunter. In diesem Eingang ist es weniger wahrscheinlich, dass Sie von informellen „Führern“ belästigt werden. Außerhalb der Gärten finden Sie ein gemütliches Straßencafé mit schönem Meerblick.
Der Hassan-Turm und das Königliche Mausoleum sind zwei der berühmtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Rabat. Der Hassan Tower ist ein achteckiger Turm mit einer Aussichtsplattform. Das königliche Mausoleum ist ebenfalls ein achteckiges Gebäude, das im frühen 18. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde und heute das Grab von Mohammed V, dem derzeitigen König von Marokko, beherbergt. Die Royal Guards sind rund um das Gebäude immer im Dienst und stehen für Hinweise und Informationen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten zur Verfügung. Beide Attraktionen können kostenlos besucht werden.
Chellah ist eine alte Stadt, die von den Karthagern gegründet, von den Römern erobert und später unter arabische Herrschaft gebracht wurde. Sie wurde jedoch von unglaublich vielen Vögeln, nämlich Störchen, verlassen und wieder besiedelt. Dieser Brutplatz sprudelte im Frühling vor Vogelleben, darunter Storchennester auf der Spitze des alten Minaretts. Die historischen Schichten waren auch sichtbar, mit herausragenden römischen und marokkanischen Teilen. Diese perfekten Bedingungen haben Chellah zu einem beliebten Reiseziel für Touristen gemacht, die die faszinierende Geschichte und die wunderschöne Umgebung erkunden können.
Der Königspalast ist ein ziemlich riesiger Ort, aber man kann ihn nicht wirklich besuchen (aber es ist ein schöner Spaziergang!). Die bewaffneten Wachen könnten Ihnen erlauben, von einem Eingang zum anderen zu gehen, besonders wenn Sie wie ein Tourist aussehen.

We did NOT take this tour. We had no way of finding it. No meeting point address or time were given. There was no answer when we tried to communicate by text or phone. VERY disappointed. And I NEED a full refund.
This was a fantastic tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. It was nice to drive to all the various sights in Rabat. Wonderful city and tour!

Sala provided us an amazing tour. We spent a wonderful day in Rabat. Hicham is an excellent guide! Very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and entertaining. Our driver, Yassine is a good and patient driver. We would definitely recommend this tour if you're visiting Rabat.
