Oder Sala Colonia ist eine Nekropole und ein Komplex aus dem alten römischen Mauretanien Tingitana und mittelalterlichen Ruinen am Stadtrand von Rabat. Es ist die älteste menschliche Siedlung an der Mündung des Flusses BouRegreg.
Das Hotel liegt auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Yaakub Al Mansour Esplanade. Es enthält die Gräber des marokkanischen Königs Mohammed V. und seiner beiden Söhne, des verstorbenen Königs Hassan II. Und des Prinzen Abdallah.
Es ist das Minarett einer unvollständigen Moschee. Der Turm sollte zusammen mit seiner Moschee das größte Minarett der Welt sein, aber die Arbeiten wurden kurz nach dem Tod von Yaakub Al Mansour eingestellt.
Die Kasbah befindet sich an der Mündung des Flusses Bou Regreg, der im 12. Jahrhundert von den Almohaden erbaut wurde, die sie in Anlehnung an ihren Anführer Al Mahdi Ben Tumurt „Al Mahdia“ nannten. Ursprünglich war diese Kasbah ein Ribat (eine militärische Verteidigung). Und später gab die Kasbah der ganzen Stadt ihren Namen. Kasbah Oudayas ist eine Stadt in einer Stadt, eine kleine Stadt in Rabat. 2012 wurde es zusammen mit anderen Stätten der Stadt als Kulturgut in die Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes aufgenommen.

We booked through Memphis Travel who uses this company locally. I highly recommend both companies. They re well organized, always timely. The tour guide, Isham, was knowledgeable and very detailed. Our driver/guide, Larbi, was exceptional. He spent ten days with us throughout Morocco. He placed our safety foremost before any thing else, in every way. Know that Morocco is a safe country, just use travel prudence with your belongings, like any other travel destination. Additionally, he made sure we were well informed of his culture and maximized our experience at every opportunity. He speaks Berber, Arabic, French and English, and serves a a constant source of information. He is very proud of his culture and gladly shares it with you. Definitely use these two companies.
Ichamito Echerfaoui was the tourist guide hired through Fire Bird Tours. Very well educated guide, able to go far beyond the typical architectural, historical and geographical information.If you are interested in social, political, religious views Mr. Echerfaoui is an excellent choice.
Pure Morocco arranged a Rabat half day tour for us. They were very professional, helpful and efficient. Our tour guide was Hicham who arrived on time and was very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He showed us all the sights as promised but his explanation made everything much more interesting. It felt like we were exploring Rabat with a friend. Hicham also recommended a great coffee shop and 2 really good restaurants which we tried and they were all great. Next time we are in Morocco, we will definitely ask Pure Morocco to arrange our whole itinerary.
Mohamed Lakhdimi gave us an exceptional tour around the key historical sites of Rabat. His English is excellent and he is courteous and respectful. He swiftly focused on what interested us. We were impressed by both his depth of knowledge and that he also willingly & unhesitatingly answered all our questions. With so much still shut because of Covid, with a lesser guide the tour could have been a disappointment but Mohamed made it a high point of our visit to Rabat
